We had a bad experience at the last O'Charley's but they contacted me and asked me to come back, this time was much better. The Chicken Tenders were awesome! The Cobbler also was Amazing! Everything else was OK except for the Chicken nachos - not good, it had some chicken tenders cut up (they again, were good) but the the cheese wasn't even melted and very few other toppings. The Burger was good and huge but fries were cold.
The restaurant is definitely understaffed at present. Our experience was okay. I don't typically choose chain restaurants, but we were dining with out of town family. Another table was giving the wait staff such a hard time about their experience, and I was amazed at how calm and professional they were in a tough situation. Be prepared to wait a while for your food since the restaurant isn't properly staffed and be mindful that everyone working is truly trying their best.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the restaurant did not smell the best. If you get past that, the food was great! I ate their steak, mashed potatoes, and Caesar salad… all were very good. The only thing I didn’t like was their baked potato soup. It didn’t really taste like anything and I won’t be ordering that again. Other than that, their food was amazing and staff were great!
Our party of 6 arrived at 6:10. We were quoted a 5 to 10 minute wait. It was a 25 minute wait. It was 6:52 before our order was taken. It took 30 minutes for.our dishes to arrive. Chase was our waiter and I truly believe he was doing his very best work.When our food arrived, one of our party was very disappointed in the quality and appearance of her food. The shrimp tasted fishy.We ate all that we could. Our waiter asked if we needed to go boxes. We did. He brought them to us.My son picked up his plate to put half of his dinner in the box and that's when we noticed his plate was VERY DIRTY on the bottom. That plate was not washed at all. We are living in the age of a pandemic and stomach viruses are going around like wildfire right now and the dishes aren't being washed?!?! If we get sick, I'm calling the health department.My sons plate was FILTHY. We didn't discover this until after eaten part of his meal and was boxing up the rest of it. I notified the manager on duty. I showed her the plate. She was visibly disgusted, Apologized and said she'd speak with the dishwasher. She said that our meals would be taken care of. I appreciated that. She did the right thing. I tipped Chase well.One thing we noticed while waiting a very long time for our dinner was that to go customers are being served very quickly. More attention is being paid to people who walk in to get their orders to go. Maybe O'Charley's needs to close the dining room and become a ghost kitchen.
My server Dani was the best. Great service and knowledgeable. The manager Amanda who also cooked my meal which was the balsamic glaze chicken was so juicy. Perfectly cooked. I couldn’t be more pleased with this visit. Thank you O’Charley’s
Excellent service from our server Kelly! Love the artichoke spinach appetizer. We were also visited by the manager Breanna and enjoyed a nice conversation with her. I will definitely be back.
This was the worst O'charley's I have been to. When we walked in the restaurant was empty however there was a 15 minute wait because they said they only had 3 servers. When we were finally seated we were seated next to the bathroom which smelled so bad we had to ask to be moved. Our appetizer came out more than 15 minutes after we ordered it and we had to find another server to check on the status. The spinach and artichoke dip was only a couple tablespoons so compared to what they charged they should have been embarrassed. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad (with the chx on the side) and the salad came out with the chicken on top of the salad and had obviously been sitting for a while because the salad was soaked and dressing and soggy. We also ordered a ribeye cooked medium which came out well done and tasted like a piece of shoe leather. We also ordered the seafood combo which came out and was very good. After that the bathroom eventually wafted over to our new seating and almost stunk us out for but for the whole meal. It took so long to get our check we once again had to go find someone to ask for assistance. This was one of the worst experiences I have had more than an hour and a half for lunch. We will not return.
Probably the best restaurant service I've ever had. Food was decent but for the price It was just right. Our server Kelly was on point and made our children laugh and feel welcomed. We have an autistic daughter and he did very well with her. Will be back.
The grade in service at this location has gone down tremendously. I have been going here for years and it’s always been a great experience but for the past year or two all of my orders have been made wrong, special food instructions have been ignored, and the service staff acts as if some of the simple requests made, can’t possibly be accommodated. Very disappointed after time and time again of this poor service .
If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered to go. When I got home I noticed the order was wrong. I ordered two bacon cheeseburgers and only one of the burgers had bacon each burger had different cheeses and one didn’t even have fries. Burgers where undercooked and salmon was over cooked. I could of went dumpster diving and found a better meal I will take some of the blame this isn’t the first time something like this had happened at the sandy plains location and I still ordered. Poor employees and even worse management. Don’t waste you time eating hear you will have to send something back and they can’t get an order right if their lives depended on it. It won’t be long before this place shuts down The cooks stink and employees don’t care
