Oh. My. Gosh!!! This will be the BEST Italian food you will ever put in your mouth. The food is absolutely fantastic. Our group ordered the gnocchi, tortellini, the pasta of the day and the seafood fettuccine. We all were eating off each other's plates. Oh! And the lobster bisque soup had huge chunks of lobster in it. The restaurant is perfect and intimate. The service is fabulous. If Lilie is your server, you will be completely taken care of. One of the owners, Tony, stopped by our table and was so incredibly nice. We unfortunately don't live near the restaurant but are already planning a weekend getaway just to come back. You will not be disappointed. We enjoyed the food so much that we forgot to take pictures. That's how good it is!
So glad I found this hidden gem. We have never had anything we didn't like! The specials are always changing and I usually order those! It's pricey but a ton of food! I always have leftovers for the next day. This is definitely my go to for comfort food! I do suggest making a reservation on the weekends as the inside is small but other than that amazing!
My favorite Italian restaurant.. Authentic, delicious, everything is great. Nice wine menu, amazing furnished. Cute place with nice ambiance.
This was the first time eating here for both my boyfriend and myself and let me just say that it was impeccable from the service to the food.We walked in mid to late afternoon and were seated immediately with no wait by a very sweet hostess. I wish I would’ve gotten our waiter’s name because he was such a sweetheart and once he realized we had never been there before he was so helpful and gave so many thoughtful suggestions. His customer service was top notch. We had one of the daily special appetizers that I can’t recall the name of, but it was based on our waiter’s recommendation. It was pieces of toasted bread with artichoke and tuna with salmon and capers with balsamic vinegar on top. It was truly delectable. Then I had a speck risotto and my boyfriend had a seafood pasta…they have beautiful Italian names that I would massacre if so tried to reproduce them here so I included pictures of our plates for reference. Compliments to the chef because this was one of the finest Italian meals I e had in my life. Additionally, my boyfriend ordered an old fashioned, one of our personal favorites, and it was delicious especially the hibiscus simple syrup and toasted almond bitters. We will most certainly be back again because of the service and food, but also because they offer outdoor dining with cute string lighting that I think would be terribly romantic for a summer date night.
One of the most authentic Italian cuisine we've had since in Italy. This family takes hospitality to another level. They were trained in culinary in Italy and brought those skills here to the States and you can experience the real deal. We've had many nice Italian meals nearby but the choice in flavors and selections of cheese, meats and pastas made me feel just like I was back in Florence right here in Marietta. Can't wait to go back and try a different dish here. Save room for dessert!
I made a reservation to have dinner here last Saturday. As far as food goes it was wonderful. Everything was delicious and came out promptly. As far as our waiter that was an entirely different situation. Everything started out just fine, the waiter checked up on us promptly up until we finished our meal and were asked if we wanted dessert, which we kindly declined. (I completely understand that after a certain point you aren’t checked on as often) After a solid 20 minutes of waiting we start eyeing him down to come back to our table to ask for our checks and which way they need to be split, but he kept going into the kitchen and just stayed for a while. It took about a solid hour or so for someone from our table to get up and flag a host to finally have someone bring us our checks. Yes, I understand that is a lengthy time to wait, in that moment you try and have as much patience as possible. Our waiter then returned to our table with a singular check didn’t ask if it needed to be separated. We then explained how it needed to be separated brings back the checks separated wrong, by this point it’s a matter of frustration to leave. We step to the bar area to pay where a different waiter is assisting us. It was like jumping through hoops to get our checks, paying, and leaving. I also should mention this place has about 9-10 tables it’s not a big restaurant by this point about 4 tables are being occupied including our own, Our waiter seemed to only be assisting us. I will say towards the very end like 2 tables did come in. Still absolutely no excuse.
I had the lamb chops and the Chicken with spinach- don’t remember the dish name, lol had too many drinks. Had the lemon cake for dessert. This was my first time and I am 100% satisfied. Great food and drink so it’s time to run around town’
First, be aware that if you use a credit card, restaurant will add 3% to your bill. NEVER had that happen before. Service: our waitperson was very nice. She was one of 4 in a very small restaurant. Despite this more than adequate number, we had to call over the bartender for our drinks. We were encouraged by a very fresh Greek salad and good warm bread. Then came the main courses: veal parm for my husband and eggplant parm for me. Tasted precooked and warmed up in a microwave. In other words, TV dinners. Go elsewhere for good Italian food.
Had to ask hostess to get our waiter every time we needed something-to get drinks, get bread, to order, sad
Very poor service. Waited one hour WITH reservations for my birthday dinner and waited a lengthy amount of time just to get drinks and bread. Limited vegetarian options. We had to order pizza off menu and it was cold and raw vegetables. The bread is from Kroger (we saw it in Kroger packaging), not authentic Italian. Also the prices are outrageous for simple Italian meals. Food quality is basic. Will definitely not be back
