It took a long time using the Drive- Through. The food was lukewarm and they now charge for tap water in a cup with some ice. So add another 38 cents for a medium cup of water.Been going here for years and this was the worst experience I have had.Probably won't be going back until they solve their staffing problems and stop charging for tap water.!
Waited over 30 minutes just to get to the speaker. I sat at the speaker 5 more minutes. I said, 'Hello?' a few times & finally got a, 'Hold on.' No greeting. Poor customer service. I'm sure they're short staffed, but an acknowledgement from the staff would be much appreciated. Very disappointed. Ridiculously long wait time. Many cars were also leaving. You also cannot go inside as it's still closed due to Covid.
Kieana Tindle shared a review about a week ago (03/19/22) concerning some of the same issues I have. The restaurant is simply NASTY. I dined in and ordered the Steak/Egg/Cheese biscuit with grits and sweet tea. Although my order was not prepared correctly twice, the food was good. A I did not see a health score posted, but it was not until I got my food and sat in the dining area. The tables were nasty and sticky. The varnish on the wood was peeling off, the base boards had tons of dust and the floor corners were dirty. It was not until I went into the bathroom that I noted the horror of dead bugs on the floor and walls. the air vent totally covered in dust and debris, and the toilet and sink looking like a truck stop bathroom from a horror movie. The food is good. The service is very slow. And the place needs a GOOOOD cleaning
Let me say the place is a little dated. It was clean and not busy at all. The menu is varied with something for just about any one. The food was very tasty and well prepared. Will be going back to try the breakfast offerings.Overall a nice place with good food and service. Worth a visit.
Sat at the drive through for 8 min without a greeting, despite the parking lot bring nearly empty... train your people to do better. Zaxbys prob appreciates it tho
I've been coming to this Martin forever. I actually worked here when I was 19. Although the food is still good. I had to rate it a 3 because it is about time they get some new equipment. I know the saying if it a broke don't fix it but sheesh. It looks pretty gross back there and to know they are preparing food back there makes it even worse. Martin's it is time for some upgrading or a good Ole deep cleaning.
This Martin’s is always on there game they have the best people that work there and are always friendly and quick to get you in and out .
Love getting eggs and bacon here. Especially when I get my Fire Department discount.Thank you Martin's Restaurant for that!
I am really at a loss as to why this place is so popular. The food is generally 'meh' and the biscuits are hit or miss. Their cheese grits are grits with a slice of American cheese on top. The porkchop biscuit I had tasted like it was heated in a microwave.I imagine is could be considered comfort food if your mother was an average to below average cook and used canned ingredients.... I'm giving it three stars because average is fine for a meal and so are canned veggies, but when I pay someone else to cook, I expect better.
The breakfast rush can vary on how much cars are in the drive thru on days. Today was quick. Ordering through the drive thru is pretty quick. Employees are pretty friendly.Ordered the chicken biscuit, with an orange juice and it is such a great breakfast item to get! I can't compare it to other locations since this is the only one I go to, but it is pretty awesome!
