There are multiple Marlow's in the area, but this one was convenient and easily met our desire for good food and service. It seemed to be a popular choice as the place quickly filled. We had a booth, but there was still considerable noise from the crowd. Multiple televisions are present to help keep you occupied. There is a full bar. The French dip sandwich, the fish (Mahi Mahi) sandwich, and the lobster roll were all very good, as was the service.
My family ordered dinner here tonight for take out. The food was so bad. The chicken wings were so dry and over fried, they didn’t sauce them so they were even more dry by the time I got them at home. Adding sauce did not help the severely dried out chicken. Fries were way over salted. Mac and cheese had no cheese! It was plain pasta. Burger sliders were overdone. Poke bowl was basically just tuna and avocado with chips on the side. Hardly any of it compared to other places we have had poke bowls from around here. We won’t be coming back.
Loved the food and service! Menu looked strange to me because I am a simple ingredients Gal, but don't let it scare you! Everything we ate (and we sampled a lot) was AWESOME! Do yourself a favor and go there.
We are regulars at this particular location of Marlow's Tavern and are always very happy! The food is always excellent, as well as the service! We can't say enough wonderful things about Alicia! She always takes care of us, is so kind and amazing! We love all the Marlow's that we have visited, but this location has a special place in our hearts!
We come to this location a lot. Close to the house and always predictable. We start off with the Firecracker Shrimp and I order a Royale with Cheese. My wife is a little more adventurous. Today she ordered the Lobster Roll. It was about the size of of a small hot dog bun. With very little lobster, and not very tasty. So why 5 stars? From the wait staff to the manager Chris, they we extremely apologetic, and offered to make it right and did! There are so many things in these extraordinary times that are beyond control. One thing we will always have control over is the way we treat each other. Thank you!
Joined a friend for lunch today at Marlow’s Tavern. It was our first time there and we loved it! The friendly atmosphere, the cleanliness … and the lunch menu selections are perfect! Our amazing server, Tori, was a delight and on point. Our friend had the Shrimp Grits, DB had the Shrimp and Crab Nacho Plate, and I had the Prime Rib French Dip with Asparagus Fries. Everything was delicious!!! We give this place ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐+
Lobster roll, fresh cut fries, veggie burger and chickpea fries. All interesting and delicious. Relaxing ambiance, good service. We will return!
Overpriced bar food. It's just ok. Expect to be disappointed if you're looking for a good meal. And then their prices are far too high for what looks like microwave heated food. I think they are hoping you're going to have enough drinks to not care or notice, but then comes the bill. The service at this one wasn't anything to get excited about.
I do recommend Marlow's, however, our waitess sucked. Never refilled our ice tea or water glasses, never checked in to ask how our meal was. Felt abandoned once she took our order. Used a gift card & added $10.00 in cash, since I thought the GC wouldn't cover it. She returns the gc( there was more than enough on it to cover the bill). She walks away with my cash, as there was a misunderstanding. There was NO WAY, she was getting a 25% tip. She walked by out table several times too. Tips are earned, not a given. This waitress needed to be retrained to give customer service. BTW: The food we ordered was very tasty.
Marlow's tavern was a very nice place. I enjoyed it. The food was delicious I ordered ahi tuna salad and that was really good. Could you use a little more tuna in it. Overall environment was a dark tavern environment and it was a busy place. Our server Amy was excellent. The only problem I had was the floors were slippery and the table top was sticky. I have no idea why but that was the only thing that I could actually say negative. If you fix that then it would probably be a five star rating.
