Great pizza, and wonderful service!
We have been to MPC at least 20 times. It has always been excellent. However, tonight the pizza was very overdone, with no cheese on top, they did replace it and were apologetic. I have a problem with the final check, they charged $9 for a glass of Chardonnay. Every time we have been there I have always ordered Chardonnay, and never been charged this much. When I questioned it, they said that was all they had available. I feel the least they could do is let us know that, before they pour the glass! We passed many restaurants to get to them, this does not help!
Great atmosphere. Good food
I placed an order online through their website for pickup today, and I want to preface that the pizza itself was a good solid pizza. If it were not for my experience at pickup, this would probably be a 4-star review. Everything online including their website and google maps information shows they offer curbside pickup. I had a sleeping toddler in the car and called for curbside pickup, and was told that's not something they offer. So what could have been a 30 second experience for pickup turned into a 15 minute endeavor in waking up said child, getting him out of the car, going in to get said pizza, and then safely putting child and pizza back in the car. If curbside pickup is no longer offered, then the information needs to be updated accordingly.Back to the pizza, I ordered a half spinach & mushroom, half bbq chicken pizza. Both halves were great, and were enjoyed by all. Overall though, I can go elsewhere, have an equally tasty pizza and not have to go through such an ordeal of a place that won't honor it's curbside pickup.
Worst takeout experience ever! While attending concert series in the park, we ordered online takeout which was placed around 7p prior to the start of the concert. While I knew there would be a wait, the app notified me at 7:40 that the order was ready! Once finally at the counter, I was told they were working on the order, then it went to we are looking for the order to we can't find it. Even after the order was called to the kitchen many times, they never put it through. After 8:30p I asked to see the Manager and explained to her the situation. Although she had empathy, she could not get the slice of pizza, chicken fingers and wings that I ordered. She could not give me a refund due to ordering through a 3rd party, but she did give me a ZERO balance gift card! I guess the joke's on me!!! NEVER AGAIN!!
I ordered the veggie pizza slice and it was a good size portion with lots of veggies. I also go the Greek salad and the Greek dressing is phenomenal. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because they do not have lunch specials. The cashier at the takeout side was attentive and friendly.
When I worked at Domino's even my boss bragged about how good Marietta peach company was. So you can imagine I was intrigued. So after hearing about this place for more than 4 years I finally went down there but I actually ordered over the phone and told him when to have it ready. So I went down there they have a separate door for pickup that's how busy this place is they do a lot of business. Parking is pretty much nearly impossible good luck on parking because there are no parking spaces available I mean it's like if you went to Gadsden Alabama and we're trying to go to the public courthouse you're not going to find any place to park. So I ordered the pizza you know the way I like for the most part I wanted to get feta cheese on medium but I goodbye a whole container full of feta cheese for the price they were going to charge me to put on a pizza. So I went to the store and bought feta cheese and put it on the pizza once I got home. I have to say the reputation of this place is really not deserved it is nothing special it's got nothing exceptional to really say hey we're fantastic the dough was normal the toppings were normal cheese was normal in the sauce was normal nothing stood out. And this is something I know a lot about I've been in the pizza industry for 30 years and that's on the low side. So I don't recommend Domino's I do not recommend Pizza Hut I think the closest thing to a great pizza these days is Papa John's there was this nice Greek restaurant on Terrell Mill but they went out of business so finding a decent Pizza your best bet is Johnny's Pizza if you can find one still in business
We visit MPC every week or two and have never been disappointed. The pizza is always perfect... Always fresh, never soggy, and always delicious. The wait can be a bit long on weekends in the summer, but that's expected in a busy location like Marietta Square - and a good sign that customers love their pies!
Folk's it ain't what it use to be. Been going, picking up and getting delivery from there since they opened. Tonight's experience was BAD! The 2 calzones were not even room temperature and I had to hunt for the pepperoni and olives. The slice of pizza was burnt and the pita that came with the hummus might as well been nacho chips. So dissatisfied. If you are going to get anything from them I would suggest dinning in that way you can complain the minute you receive your food. So disappointed
Love the Pizza! Also the best Calzones around! The pizza is totally like the Slices I use to get in NY! Awesome.
