For a vegetarian, the restaurant wasn't that good. Mainly because the well-known Greek dishes such as hummus, falafel, and rice/vegetables were very meh. The hummus was full of turmeric that completely ruined the taste. The falafel was undercooked on the inside, and the rice was just plain rice with a bit of seasoning and lacking in flavor. Honestly a disappointment, even for non-vegetarians, these well-known dishes may be a disappoint.
Food was decent but what really made the experience was the comfy atmosphere and our server! I believe his name was Ben and he put up with all our shenanigans! We got various things (pizza, pasta, sandwich) and everything was good but not as great as Christos used to be.
I've eaten at Kouzins Christos a few times with my daughter and both of us give KC very enthusiastic 5 stars! The food is delicious, the service is tip top. I've had a calzone and a grinder and both were transcendent and plentiful. My daughter had a pasta dish and garlic bread that made her want to go back the next night. We'll be back soon!
Best gyro around. Excellent food as well as excellent service, everybody was very friendly and the food arived very fresh and delicious. Will absolutely be returning.
I don't write reviews unless something really makes me go WOW! And wow! I went to Greece last summer and the food seems better here Lol. The Greek salad was the most fresh salad with bright red yummy tomatoes. We had the calamari which was super excellent but be sure and try the pita and hummus appetizer. I love love this place, so happy to find it right down the street in their new location. These guys do it right!
OMG! OMG! OMG! I love this place soooo much. I've been eating here since 2000 location off Delk Rd. Then I move to other side of town and when in the area I stopped by and they were gone. Then years later I saw them by total accident a little further south on Powers Ferry. Then Covid hit and I saw they were Closed Permanently. NOOOOOO...not again!!! But then just today there they were in a new location off Johnsons Ferry near Lower Roswell Rd. I had to stop and see if it was the same family and it was!!!!Family owned this place has amazing food. My favorite is the pastrami grinder but I can personally tell you they are all Great! Everyone I have turned onto this place has become a fan. Several years back I turned on a friend and he loved them so much we went there every Sunday for years and catered them for his Super Bowl parties! So glad they are still in business!!!
Delicious and authentic cuisine—highly recommend. Excellent, friendly service.
Waited 30 minutes for an appetizer that was horrible and takes 5 minutes to prepare. Food came, gyro was thr size of a taco for $12.00. We left and went elsewhere. This place is a shadow of it's former self!!!
There was a small wait, but I actually appreciated that they didn't just utilize ALL the tables when they only had 2 waitresses on a Friday night at 7pm. Then everyone sits at their tables with the expectation of being waited on immediately. Our wait was about 15 minutes and we ordered and received our appetizers right away. The ravioli and calamari were both great. Once it was time to order our food the waitress advised us it was about 25 minutes for meals as they were backed up from lack of staff.I really appreciated the notice and it definitely didn't take that long! We got the Gyro plate and the roasted lamb grinder. Everything was AWESOME!Despite being short staffed the staff was impeccable! They all had great attitudes and kept smiles on their faces as well as those in the restaurant! Please try this place! The portions are great and you won't regret it!
Good food with friendly knowledge service. Portions good size.
