As a customer of Johnny's for well over a decade, I know the owners very well. I have never once seen them charge a person in uniform for a meal. Police officers, Firemen, EMS, Active Military in uniform have all eaten free. Every Monday morning, several Cobb County Police officers gather for a meal. Never once seen them charged. They have given away THOUSANDS of meals to those who serve.
Fresh meat pizza was great. 2nd time going wasn't going to go back both orders were tak out. My first experience was not so great. The food was good but my experience with service was not. My foo.d was ready I got what I asked for. While paying for my order the cashier made me feel unwelcome there were no pleasantries exchanged. My 2nd-time different cashier. He was warm and welcoming and asked did I need any help taking the order to my car due to it being a large order.. overall great Food Great customer service. I'm glad I didn't let one person change my overall perception.
Horrible experience. The service and good were good, but the owner was rude, dismissive and unprofessional. As an IRAQ, combat Veteran, I would have expected more dignified treatment. Upon learning that I'm a VET, I told him that other Johnny's Pizzas honor veterans and he remarked .. "I don't care what other restaurants do, this is MY restaurant." I've been a business owner/manager and commander in the US Army for almost 25 yrs and I know that this dishonorable and degrading attitude is no way to treat your customers. Shame on this disgusting individual. DO NOT patronize this place -- I will never return and hope nobody else does either. That will send him a clear message that treating combat Veterans with disrespect is NOT what this country is about. Not to mention, I was a paying customer --
We slid in right before closing. Kitchen didn't seam very excited but had nuthin on the 80s style shorts wearing server. Dude was dry, not very friendly at all. However, food was fantastic! Would have gotten it to go had I known that I'd be tippin a food mule that posted at the hostess stand and glared the whole time!
This is place a great spot to stop by and pick a slice after work. Never seem too busy and staff always super friendly.
Best pepperoni pizza! Get it by the slice or a whole pie. Friendly service.
In NY, we have pizza night every Friday and when I visit my sister in Marietta, I can't skip out. This has been her spot for years and I've come here several times. I love that it feels like a typical LI pizza joint. Take out counter with enough seating if you choose to dine in and a small bar if you want a bev while you wait for your to-go. Was delighted on our last visit to see Caleb back in action because he's one of the best! It's a chain but doesn't feel like it and while nothing compares to NY pizza, this is more than just an adequate substitute. Cheese is quality and toppings are fresh, wings are crispy and tasty. Can't wait for my next sister visit and my next Johnny's visit!
Great customer service but from a NYer, so NOT NY pizza. I went to this is place by accident thinking it was a different Johnny's. If you're from NY, I can't recommend as NY Pizza. Too thick.
Johnny's is great! Food is great and there is everything from pizza, calzones, chicken tenders to salads and wraps. The staff are friendly and welcoming and Team Trivia on Monday night is a lot of fun. Highly recommend Johnny's New York Style Pizza!
