Very prompt service and amazing food. All the employees and management are super friendly. The outside patio is very nice. I enjoy the pork sandwich and the ribs.
This location is fairly new but should have it down to science by now. Today I got tenders and Mac and cheese. The chicken tenders were a hot mess, seems like they were re-fried to be the right temperature. The breading was crispy and tasted almost burnt or cooked in old oil. Plz fix it.
We used to like this restaurant. It was always expensive but they had good quality BBQ. Tonight I ordered the ribs. I paid $30 for the ribs. They were fatty, chewy and anything but tender. Not what you expect from a good BBQ restaurant. Soooo disappointed. I feel taken advantage of.

Restaurant was really nice. The price is high for what you get. I got bbq chicken it was ok and the brisket sandwich had good flavor but barely any meat on the sandwich. The corn was a bbq corn which you would expect it to have bbq something on it but it didn’t, just butter and very peppery. Very nice place but more of a fast food bbq.
Jim 'N Nicks has been a staple for my family since our days living in S Cobb. We have enjoyed both the S Cobb and Paulding Co location for many years. We loved it when we found out a place was opening up right down the street. We have eaten here several times and I decided I shld drop a review. BBQ is good, but over priced for the portions. Also...this location doesn't have the same vibe and friendly atmosphere as the other 2 spots. Going to chalk that up to the pandemic. I definately see room for growth though.
I can't give an opinion on the barbeque as I had a salad with their chicken. Their service model has changed. Now you order at the register and wait for them to bring your food. All drinks are self service. They used to have actual servers. I'm sure this is due to the shortage of help.The salad was good and generous. The chicken had no noticeable smoke flavor.
One of my favorite BBQ places, here and the one on Old Peachtree are the best.Get the brisket chopped! Only way to eat it.
I went through drive thru on Super Bowl Sunday and ordered three bbq pork sandwiches. Brought them home to my husband and son and we all agreed they were the Worst we have EVER had. Stringy .. so tough we couldn’t chew it and full of fat!! Shame on you for selling such a product. Not worth a dollar and it cost me over $30!! We love bbq but not here!! If this is what your serving GOOD LUCK because you’re not gonna make it!!
