If you are looking for the mom and pop flavor and portion size you experience while in Italy .... you've selected the right spot. They are priced well below their worth. ...and the food was nothing short of amazing. I tried some things from all areas of the menu.The service was amazing... owner was friendly and slow sweet. Kiss the cook. We will be back for sure.
This is a cute little mom and pop shop. The staff are kind and the food came out quickly, while being affordable! The serving sizes were generous, and the flavor was delcious too! Highly recommend if you need a quick bite, but still want a quiet sit down spot to chat with family or friends.
I have been coming by this place for years. I am so glad that I finally went in. The restaurant was clean and cute on the inside. I was surprised to see a full service menu of italian dishes, pizza, calzones, strombolis, and hot and cold sandwiches. We had the Italian Sub and the large Italian Calzone. The Calzone was huge and filled with yummy stuff. The Italian sub was served with chips and a pickle spear and it was very good as well. Great atmosphere, great service and great food. I can’t wait to try their pizza!
This is one of those little, hometown, diamond-in-the-rough places you wish was even closer to the house. Melata is wonderful and every single thing on the menu is made to perfection. Pizza, fettuccine, marsala, you name it and it's fantastic. Easy take out or quaint dine in. Give it try; you won't be disappointed.
What a pleasant dining experience that we had! After Marietta Square we stopped by for early supper on a Saturday. We received a warm and eager greeting. The dining room was clean, and ambiance soothing. Our server was eager and very efficient. The food was very good: we had fries (fresh, hot), spaghetti with clam sauce (very good white sauce, tangy with good garlic flavor and plenty of clams) and a hand tossed pizza(very good). The restaurant is conveniently located and there is convenient safe parking in front. We'll be back.
Great pizza! All I got was a plain cheese but it was just what I wanted. Note: There isn't many drinks, so maybe stop by the kroger next door while you wait.
Refused to honor menu price after I paid. Charged me 600% of menu for a low end salad. The first time I ordered, everything was fine. The second time, they skimped on the sandwich fillings and ripped me off on the salads. The owner actually took the Uber Eats driver's phone to argue with me in unintelligible gibberish. She complained about her own published menu prices. She told me she was going to send one salad for the price of six. I told her if she did that, I'd leave an honest review. Here it is.
Amazing customer service and great pizza! Was told during lunch hours it's better to call instead of ordering there and waiting, so I while wasn't able to get exactly what I wanted I still left with a slice of cheese and it was so good! I'll be back and calling ahead this time :)
Phenomenal! This place has been here for ages, and back in the day it wasn't great. The current owners have turned it around in a BIG way. Try the sausage roll!Edit: try the everything! The garlic knots, the cannoli, the stromboli -- I'm in love. This is my new favorite local place.
