Would not recommend. I’m so disappointed in this location. One being a Chicago native and to have a place that taste just like home means everything. But this last experience of being cheated out of my money and my food being wrong and just thrown in bags and missing items I highly don’t recommend. I’ve been reaching out to management for weeks because their app allowed us to order food they don’t offer and take our money and we still have yet to get a refund, no follow up, extremely unprofessional. When addressed that I was missing items I ordered and paid for the young lady at the register was just like oh yeah we don’t have that. And that was it no let me get a manager let’s get you a refund nothing. So I had to say I need my money back I need a manager. This is poor representation of Chicago food and terrible customer service.
Drink are good and they have good specials for drinks also ordered 2 appetizer egg roll and the pizza puff both where delicious ordered the chicken and waffles chicken was good and the waffles are bomb good customer service server was great and friendly
I got the chicken and waffles which weren’t bad but the chicken was small and the waffles were soggy even before I put the syrup on it. It came with coleslaw which I was excited for, only to see that it came in a sauce cup but it was besides the point there were 2 with my order when I opened up the first one I could smell that it was SERIOUSLY off I went to grab the second and I kid you not the top looked like it was about to pop off it was full of whatever gas was emoting from the coleslaw (like a milk carton that’s gone bad and the sides start to pop out). Definitely going to steer clear of this place after that!!!
Food is always bussin, and what makes the place even better is the customer service is as well! Angel knows the menu well and is quick and accurate.
My friend and I arrived at the restaurant walked in there was a young lady standing at the front there was no greeting no nothing there was a sign there that stated seat yourself so we picked a booth and sat down 10 minutes later no one came to our table and said nothing several girls walked by still nothing so at this point we decided to leave after 15 minutes never going back again when you chose to support black owned restaurants and the service is horrible find another place to go and not here Marrietta Fish Market is close by and the service is wonderful and so is the food
Ordered their “4 whole wings and fries” for about $17 and got this....I called in and told them that the size of the “whole” wings are unacceptable and requested a refund or to remake the order.You can see the toothpick as a reference to the size of the wings.After a 15 minute hold, I was informed that they don’t refunds and would not be able to exchange the food because they would have to “see it” before it leaves the store. Offered to bring it back so they can “see it” but a remake or refund was denied. They definitely lost me as a customer.
The chicken was good especially the sauce, overall the food was good, yes I would recommend this restaurant to others to eat at.
So disappointing. I ordered the six piece wing meal. The wings tasted like they had been fried in old grease. The mild sauce had absolutely no flavor. The establishment could use some renovations. It does not look clean or orderly. Some of the seats in the booths are torn up. The waiters and waitresses do not wear masks while serving you. The food is outrageously overpriced for wings that are fried in old grease with little to no flavor. Don't waste your money at this restaurant.
My boyfriend and I ate here for a date night. We had an amazing time! The music is great & our waitress Angel was great! She made sure we had everything we needed & made our experience that much more enjoyable. I recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to vibe and have a good time.
It was my first visit and everything was fine, but my waitress confirm with me my drink I wanted was $5. When I got the bill you she had to tell me it wasnt and charged me higher price. Great atmosphere!
