My Sister and Brother in Law introduced us to Frank's last year - lordie, the food was fantastic and Plenty!
Franks is the best even though I always get the same thing. The rib tip plate w/collard greens and red beans & rice. They have apple cobbler that's out of this world where the apples melt in your mouth. They have peach cobbler too and it's good too and I don't even eat it.
Ordered rib tips .The rib tips were just okay. I was looking for Chicago style rib tips. If the rib tips are cooked correctly you will never need sauce. I used plenty of sauce. Good rib tips have a little snap, not falling off the bone ,not tough either.
I have had positive experiences when I have eaten from this business. I have tried the whiting, potato salad, green beans. Each time it was really good. Perhaps I can add a pic from my next visit.
Every time I drive by I think I have to try this place out. Well I finally did and I'm glad I did. Food was really tasty and the portions were large. I had the jumbo chicken Philly sandwich and it was delicious. Although this is basically a take out place it is worth going to.
It’s a no for me I get it some ppl don’t like dry rub but that was not my case I do like dry rub and when you add sauce to me it’s a cover up for no real taste the ribs with no sauce was no good and you will get sauce so beware of that when you order
UPDATE: A gentleman who had been working in the establishment for a few years over heard conversation with the other employee and took it upon himself to explain the misunderstanding and address customer service issue which helped. Thanks. I did taste food and got some for a friend and it was a bit salty on some of the dishes but apple cobbler was great!Worst customer service when it comes to your business! When someone is telling you that your online order prices aren’t matching up with orders placed at the window look into it. Don’t dismiss the customer on their order just because you want their money! Reviews and customer service goes a long way! Will not be coming here again and this was my first time and I haven’t tasted the food! Smh ??♀️
Just ordered a plate for me and my dad. The food well seasoned and great amount of food for your money. I tried red beans and rice something I don't like and loved it. When I come back to Atlanta this a must stop
Absolutely delicious food sold by welcoming, delightful people. Get you some ribs, brisket, spicy pulled pork and chicken now. Very solid and flavorful sides.
Came bout a month ago. The lightskinned dude with the cap and dexter glasses seemed annoyed I arrived when they closed when google and the website said otherwise at the time. The guy was unprofessional just to prove a point. Black businesses like this tend to never keep customers. If you read this then remember you bogus. I'm the customer the business runs because customers fund your restuarant. May you try to get better at customer service.Also judging by how you respond to people who have proper critiques about your establishment, it's no surprise coming from conceited individuals who can't learn how to listen to feedback to then improve upon your behavior. Since you dont know how to not get yalls feelings hurt. Tragic, whoever's responds to this review and doesn't get offended then great. You may have some type of customer service and common sense.
