Canvas is my local lunch spot. The food is great, the staff is friendly and always goes above and beyond to please the customers. The restaurant is very clean and has a good atmosphere. I recommend Canvas to everyone! The menu has a wide variety to accomodate to every customer's preference. Canvas is definitely my favorite place to eat for lunch!
We are never disappointed with our breakfast. I have loved the yogurt parfait and the pancakes. My husband enjoys the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. The management is always so friendly, and the portions are very large. It can be busy, but there are lots of seating options. For those still being pandemic cautious, the outdoor patio is a great option. There are umbrellas available. The traffic noise can be a little overwhelming if anyone in your party has sensory challenges.
Good food but weird hours and doesn’t deliver with mainstream platforms. Very much deterred from their business as well as wife’s doughnut business below strictly bc of this. Feel like it’s a sign of laziness and hard to not have a part in food prep. Next time I’m visiting restaurant would love to talk to the staff to see if they are paid well or if the hours are reflect-ant of salary, etc. We shall see and will update review accordingly…
Very good menu selection for breakfast and lunch. Definitely great place to eat at atound the hospital or doctor office. The donut shop is connected that is down stairs. Only downside is parking is limited.
I tried CANVAS because I was craving a breakfast biscuit sandwich. I was super excited to get one, but was told their biscuits weren’t ready… at 8:30 on a Monday morning. There wasn’t a huge mass of customers. It was literally me, a police officer, and a couple seated at a table… so I’m not sure why there was a biscuit shortage/lack of preparation. I ended up getting my meal with a bagel instead. My side wasn’t correct, but at that point, I just wanted to eat my food and go.Overall, the food was very flavorful and came out quickly, but I was a little put off by the whole experience. Not sure if I will be back again soon.
My experience yesterday at lunch was a disappointment! I had taken my husband to the Kennestone Emergency Department, so I walked across the street to get something to eat. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The food was fine--not delicious, but not bad. As I was finishing my meal at 2:00, an employee came to my table and said, "Just so you know. We close at two." I said that I didn't know. Then I looked at the menu/place mat, and it said that the hours were until THREE. I pointed to that. I couldn't hear what she said, but she wanted me to finish up and leave. If she had mentioned that it was almost time for closing (before two o'clock) or had been patient FOR FIVE MINUTES, I would have given this review four stars. Based on her interaction with me, I never want to eat there again. This was my first and last time. Her time was the most important thing, not the customer's lunch experience!
The sandwiches here are so good, its one of the few places I go to expand my taste. Literally just ask the girl at the counter what her favorite sandwich is. I stopped looking at the menu after my 2nd visit
Friendly staff and excellent food. I ordered the avocado toast and poached eggs. It was simple but so very good. I love cooked tomatoes and the potatoes were great. My daughters fries were piping hot and seasoned well, I may have procureda few, lol. She enjoyed her sandwich but preferred the one on sourdough my sister ordered.? Highly recommend the ice coffee and heading downstairs for a rum doughnut for later. The portion sizes left no room right after our meal.
First time here. Awesome place to have coffee and breakfast. Delicious options and generous food portions. Ordered the western omelette and french toast. Definetely will be back.
Great food! My sister and I just had avacado eggs
