Definitely overrated. I mean if you don’t like seasoning on your food you would love it. But I’m a foodie & I believe food should be seasoned well to get the taste you’re looking for. It looks delicious but it doesn’t taste how it looks. Also anytime drinks aren’t good at a restaurant then you should know the food is not good. The drinks were horrible. How do U mess up a simple margarita it tasted like it had seasoning in it. Should of used that seasoning for the food. I hate to leave a bad review but my expectations were to high?

I told the guy 2 quesadillas and only charged me one and then orders loaded fires and got normal bland fries I was asked if I want meat on the fries and said yes I paid $10 for normal fries in the end. this place is terrible a whole bunch of nosabos behind that counter I should of ordered in English to make it easier in them what a wast of time and money

After the first visit, this place immediately became my go-to for Mexican food. You can’t do better than authentic! My favorite is the shrimp tacos & now they offer cheese dip. I also love that they have jackfruit tacos and veggie Birria. You can’t go wrong! The quesadilla is top notch as well the the drinks/juices. Next, I’ll be trying their dessert. I can’t wait for the patio to be complete! Omg I forgot to mention the rice and beans! I mean there is literally no bad item on the menu!

You don’t have to look any further, Birria El Gordo has what you need. I would suggest eating your food there so you can get the full experience of having your food fresh! I love the stand where you can get hot peppers & sauces for your tacos. Also make sure to get your Margarita with the rim (they will know what you mean). Don’t forget your order of churros either. I almost forgot the secret menu item that changes monthly. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic - fresh - grilled to a crisp- the drinks are great especially the fresh pineapple and don’t forget to grab a piña coloda

1st time trying Birria tacos, and it absolutely met my expectations! The tacos were perfectly cooked and had that crunchy chewy texture goodness. And even though the tacos look and feel hella greasy.. to my surprise they weren't heavy at all! Lastly the consum dip broth, I was blown away with the consistency and flavor, really took the dish over the top for me. I think this dish puts Mexican Food back on the map for me personally!!! ? The only downside is the price.. which came to around $20 and change for 4 Birria tacos, chips, and consum broth + a Coke. Luckily, I wasn't able to eat all 4, so I have takeout in the morning.. I believe the combo with 2 tacos and dip was $11 (drink not included).

Love the birria tacos every time I go.Recently tried tosoda and it was yummy.Ask what the secret menu item of month is. DEC was birria ramen and omg it was fabulous

Always delicious food here, and super unique takes on birria in their secret menu. One trip will have you coming back for sure! My favorite has been the birria pizza!

Finally tried this place and it was good. Food taste great! I ordered my food to go and it didn't take long to get. I definitely will be back. I loved the Birria tacos and the rice/beans were soooo delicious!! I recommend!

I love that it’s not overly seasoned. There’s a station inside with additional condiments to add additional flavor if you want. That shows consideration to all customers. The food was hot and fresh, it was very good.
