Really awful experience, except the waitress was attentive and nice. We asked for the manager who took a long time to respond to us because instead of being served Grouper, we were served a fish that was supposed to be grouper but was not. The filet was not cut like grouper, the look was not grouper, and the taste verified it was not grouper. Another plate of food was for Sea Scallops - Nope - Bay scallops (the smaller, less tender type) were served instead under the name of Sea Scallops. The side corn on the cob came out - small and room temperature - not appetizing at all. The coleslaw was barely below room temp. Next plate was 3 clusters of snow crab claws - right crab, but room temp, and no hot butter. Instead of being the price advertised on their menu online - it cost 50% more! The good news- waitress cared, manager comped, and the non-grouper fish and Bay scallops served tasted OK for what they were. We did not eat most of the meals and instead left and ate elsewhere, because we were all still hungry after not eating most of the meal.
Food was good and plentiful. Only negative came when their system went down and we spent 45min trying to checkout, having our credit cards declined 4 times before they reset it... smh. Otherwise it was a really good experience.
Eh! Service was great from Lorrine (sorry if I butchered it)! We enjoyed her. The food was OK. The crab legs were overcooked and small. The butter tasted old. I ate them and didn't complain though because I was hungry. (I know surprising for me too, lol) Other than that, it was a good evening.
Let me start off by saying I never leave negative reviews. I really try to avoid them because I've been in the food industry before so I know how hectic it can be. With that being said the waitress we had was terrible!!! Wish I can remember her name. We're very understanding people but common sense has to kick in somewhere. This is our 1st time here! We ordered two caesar salads(which means salad base, parmesan, croutons, and caesar dressing) with our meal only to get house salads instead. I'm allergic to onions and carrots. We understand everyone is human so we weren't tripping. When we addressed it to her, we thought she was going to change it. She came back and only removed the onions but the salad still had cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, etc... And this time it had ranch instead of caesar dressing. My girlfriend explained the situation to her again but she wasn't getting it for some reason. Bad start and the bad service still continued. We finally got our entree and my order had onion rings on it. SOMETHING I NEVER ORDERED!!!! When I asked her about it she told me the cooks add extra stuff on there sometimes. Like what?! That makes no sense! And my order was missing hush puppies. We ordered arnold palmers and my girlfriend's drink had red liquid on the inside/outside of the cup. She never really came to check if we needed our drinks refilled or if everything was okay. Got to the point we just wanted to get to-go boxes and get out of there. She really needs to get her act together or this job might not be for her. Overall, the food was okay. Definitely wasn't worth the $63, along with terrible service. Maybe she needs to retrained again. The only positive is that the inside looks beautiful and the host/greeter was nice.
It was ok but no liquor was a buzz kill esp after going there as a large group after a friend's funeral. Decent size space but seemed cramped in light of we were basically the only costumers there at that time.
Waitress was great, to start with. But the food???Paid $18 for Broiled Mahi Mahi. It was from frozen product and dry as a bone! Take it back… EVERYTHING we ordered was from frozen product! If I want pre-made seafood, I’ll go to Long John Silvers! Much cheaper and for the price? The quality would be better!Never Again with this place!
We came in today after having funeral service with a very large party ( 35+). Holly was our server and let me tell you that woman was absolutely amazing! Extremely efficient, our food was hot and timely never needed a drink refill. I’ve been a server most of my adult life and what she did by herself was remarkable! If you go here with a large group or even small definitely need to get Holly! She made our dining experience enjoyable.
The best parts of my meal were the clam chowder and hush puppies. The grilled grouper looked more like flounder, and had a fishy odor. It was not fresh. The garlic mashed potatoes were strange. The taste was all right. The texture was more like a rice pudding! I was pleased with the service from young lady who waited on me. Looking at all of the five-star reviews it looks like all of those people went for fried food which might have masked some of the non-fresh fish.
Not sure where the reviews came from but went to eat with my wife and our mother around 3 p.m. They ordered the $15 "meal deal" and I ordered a combo plate. The "deal meals would not fill a four year old, VERY small portions and all the food was cold. If I had to do it again, we would go to Captain D's The service was even worse, slowww and only saw the server twice and had to hunt down the bill. The manager did not care, we got a weak sorry and that was it. $90 and then went to eat a real meal. JOKE!!
Outstanding food, plenty of food for the price! Great and fast service. Just a overall amazing experience. I would recommend Bay Breeze seafood over Marietta fish Market anytime. Especially if you looking for a overall amazing dining experience.
