I write this with sadness, but I hope this help with growth and development.I ordered Rice and peas and cabbage and yams. and got a juice. The rice and peas where dry and old tasting and looking. the cabbage was crunchy and hard, and it was like the bad part of the cabbage in it. The yams were store can bought , unbelievable. I couldn't believe the price$30.00, but I was willing to accept had the food been good. Unbelievable... Please get some consistency, go back and perfect your foods, and make sure you write your recipes, so your cooks get it right all the time. That juice had so much Ginger it takes like pepper.. Please don't get frustrated, just go back to the drawing board and critique.
My first time. Been wanting to try this place so I decided to go Saturday. Not happy. My rice & peas had no peas. My Mac & cheese wasn’t what I expected as far as taste ( I’ve had some really good vegan Mac & Cheese). The wings where just too thick, I’m not a fan. $40 for my plate & juice. The best thing was the greens. I’m not sure if I would try again, extremely disappointed. The staff was very nice.
Came and got some Mac and Jeeze, which was pretty good considering. What turned me off completely was seeing the woman who runs the place completely fly off the handle to one of the cleaning staff when she asked her if she would please move her car. This woman was screaming and cussing and treating her like trash. Definitely won't be coming back to this restaurant.
I've been following Bad Gyal Vegan on IG & ? her fun personality & yummy looking food. So when I happened 2B in Marietta @ lunchtime I decided 2 go 2 her place in the Marietta Square Market Foodcourt. Sweet people R running it & I got the Ackee Spring Rolls which were perfectly crisp & delicious. I gave one star off for the parking challenge & the high prices. ?
So I finally got to try the voxtail, hot wings, meatloaf, mac and cheese, cabbage and plantain and OMGGGG not only did it taste like authentic Jamaican food the owner was so kind and welcoming! The staff was on point and everything was so clean! I’m so happy that I found another delicious vegan spot that actually doesn’t taste VEGAN. My family and I will definitely be regulars!Side note: I didn’t get a picture of the spinach patty because we ate them too fast but they were delicious as well!
Friendly service and great tasting food!
This all vegan meal was amazing, definitely recommend finding something on the menu to try if you've never been here!
Who would’ve thought I loveeeee vegan food and I’m not even vegan. Not to mention I’m a picky eater. I’m in love with the Yankee Jerk Burger and the Fried skimp with hot honey is unbelievable and give me life! I’ll be back for some more Jamaican vegan food from this black owned business.
The best vegan food I’ve ever had! The food at the pop up at Wadada Juice bar on the west end was soo lit. I can’t believe they make vegan oxtail that taste very much like real oxtail. The texture and the gravy is spot on and this is coming from a real born Jamaican foodie. Big up to this family based black business. I’ll be back!!!
I’m die hard baddie!!! Their food is made with love!!! Crispy Skrimp dinner with honey garlic with mac & baddie yams is my go to!I look forward to having my own franchise 1 day!! Blessings to this amazing company
