The line ups can get a little crazy. And the building is older, so occasionally, like today, some of the coolers malfunction. But a fun place to peruse and try new things. Especially foods that aren't typical grocery store finds.
Haven't been in a while but wanted some fresh fish and this is the place. The one draw back to this place is...It smells like fish. So take a close pen with ya! (Dating My Self). I forgot how diverse the selection of food choices they have. Not the easiest place to get in and out of, but Worth the trip.
Ther are several very good markets in the area, and most of them have a great variety of international foods and ingredients. That is one of my favorite things about Marietta. This particular market has a few things I had been unable to find anywhere else. I had given up, but now I have them. Awesome!
I purchased fruit from Austell Farmers Market and a few days later the majority of it went bad. I spent over $200 and they said they don't take produce back or give a refund. The cantelope didn't go bad but it wasn't sweet. The apples aren't sweet or crunchy. As soon as you take these items home and clean the pesticides off of them they go bad. This isn't the first time it has happened! Has anyone else experienced this?

They a little bit over price. And for the seafood area. Not empress at all.. their music is too loud even the store is already playing music. Seafood area staff is too slow. I wish the management can see that..
I love this market! I love trying food and fruits from different cultures and areas of the world. I'm rating it so low due to the live seafood area. There were dead crayfish and blue crabs in the boxes kept with the others, which is disgusting. The live ones will feed off the dead ones causing bacteria in the live ones, or someone could accidentally get a dead one. Some of the catfish in the tank looked injured or unhealthy either, which gave me concerns of consumption.Aside from this, I think they have a nice variety of spices, fruits, and foods.
This place is awesome! Love the fresh produce section. Great deals too. Asparagus bunches $.99, huge bag of spinach $5.99, large tray of strawberries $1.49.... incredible selection too! The seafood section is great with all the types of fish to choose from including some that are swimming in front of you. Lol. Live crabs, live lobsters, and lots of selections of shrimp, octopus, fish heads, etc. They have variations of snapper, mackerel, trout, bass, perch, etc. The meat section is very different with its international touch of many unusual cuts of meat. They have frozen duck, goat cuts, many different cuts of beef and pork as well. Plus each aisle is filled with wide selections. For example, you want Ramen noodles, well there is a 20 foot selection of all kinds of Ramen soups to choose from....it is wild lol. Plus there are rows for Asian, African, Mexican, etc. It is definitely worth a trip to see for yourself. My grandkids love going with me to the farmers market. They like to try the different types of candy sections and sometimes the cold drinks too. It is entertaining as well as educational. Hope you make time to go.
Wow! We could have wandered for a couple of hours! They have so much! The fresh seafood area was astounding--lots of variety and everything looked super fresh. The meats were the same. Prices are good, too. The store is clean and organized.
Produce and meats are super affordable, they have great cultural selections such as Japanese, Korean, Hispanic, Jamaican, African, and European. The biggest selections are the Hispanic and Japanese. They have a fresh seafood market located in the back of the store, it does make the building alittle stinky but its fast to get used to and ignore.
