While a tad loud, it has excellent food, fair drink prices, and an outdoor patio that can be heated for colder temps. It's probably favorite hangout on the north side of town.
Good food at a reasonable price. They allow smoking inside, so if you are allergic be prepared for that.

The place was recommended by the desk clerk at the motel where we were staying. On the menu they offered a roast beef panini "piled high" with thin slices of roast beef. Turned into 3 thin scrawny slices of roast beef covering about a third of the bread.The servers were very nice, and the atmosphere was friendly. But the food was disappointing.
Great Place. I'm just traveling through Macon on business, but I had a great time at Wagers Bar & Grill. The help could not have been more attentive. I ordered the skillet pizza, and it was awesome. I'm coming back the next time I'm through. It's a real sports bar!
My trio settled at our hotel and looking for dinner. We passed by this casual bar as well as two other chain restaurants before checking in, and decided that a one-of-a-kind place looked worth a try. After finding nice patio seating, we decided on a couple of Best Bet steak sandwiches and a Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich. The steak sandwiches were so soooo tender), and my daughter-in-law raved about her chicken sandwich. Pair these with a nice wine, add fries to all, and we could not believe the taste and value. The manager, Brad, and his wait staff came to check on us to make sure we were satisfied. Loved the fact it was so close to the hotel (which thankfully, was down the street). This bar, along with the hotel we chose, will definitely be on our route next time we migrate north again. Thanks for a great time.

First time having grilled hot wings. Very good and the wings were the big ones . Draft craft beer was good also.
