Our waitress was great and the food was great. It was a great way to start our day off. We were traveling and it's always nice to deal with pleasant people while away from home.
By far the best Waffle House I’ve been to. Ronnie the cook absolutely killed it. Everything was perfect. Terry our server was super sweet and helpful. BB was also great

Great experience here! This was the first Waffle House I went to and by far the best! I was on a road trip from Canada to Florida and I went to this Waffle House several times while staying in Macon, while in Florida I went to several other waffle houses but the service at this one in Macon really stood out. The team does a fantastic job and seems to work very well together and the food was very good and very consistent. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who’s interested.
Heading back home from an April21st comedy show in Macon and witnessed an understaffed waffle house flow like i never seen before. LEE, the grillmaster, should be promoted ASAP. I study social dynamics and he was on point with receiving orders calling the shots to the 2 other servers. His attention to detail, his multitasking was unbelievable; right down to making sure the fridge was shut all the way between prepping the eggs, toast and waffles... I was exhausted just watching him work.
There's nothing like waffle house hash browns with sweet onions and ohh those waffles, their the best! It's a real treat to hear the crazy lingo yelled out and watch the "grill master" doing 4-6 different things all at the same time, somehow getting all the orders RIGHT! Of course it's an Amazing ART and takes a special kind of person to pull it off! The speed at which this is accomplished is truly amazing and sadly I'm sure these lovely folks are not compensated monitarily nearly for what they are worth! So next time you have the pleasure of the Waffle House experience... Today, I ate at this particular waffle house for a quick lunch..I enjoy breakfast anytime of the day..this was the first time that I have eaten at any waffle house in 15 years..the staff were friendly, service was excellent and the food was awesome....I would recommend if you are in the area..good job..
On our last morning in Georgia - we have gotten around to trying a Waffle House. When we told our waitress Miss Penny that we lived in Idaho and had never been in a Waffle House before - she couldn’t hardly believe it. It was one of the most entertaining times I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I don’t think it would be possible to leave there without a smile on your face! There were at least 8 people back there working - and every one of them were dancing & singing to the music. And they were all thanking each other multiple times for everything they were doing for one another. It was the epitome of Southern Hospitality! Miss Penny said we were just lucky & happened to pick the best one in Macon!
This is one of the (over) 2100 locations located in 25 US states. It looks like there are about 10 different Waffle Houses in the Macon, Georgia area alone. This restaurant is located on the east side of Arkwright road to the north of I-75. Parking is limited at the location but there is some to the east and down the hill from the location. It is set up like a typical Waffle house with a staff that greets you when you enter. You can eat at the tall counter, low counter, or in the booths to the left and right of the counters. The menu is regular American fare with Eggs and omelets for breakfast and sandwiches for breakfast. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant was not very crowded when we visited. The place was very clean. The waitress came to take our order quickly. We ordered the waffles (of course) and bacon and drinks. The food came out quickly and tasted very good. The staff was very professional, the price was good and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting some good food and a pleasant atmosphere.
This was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a Waffle House. They ran out batter, and grits. Didn't cook my cousin's hash browns correctly. Tables behind us took forever to clean. Server tried her best to make us happy. Discounted missing items. Won't be returning.
