i enjoyed the food when i went to juicy crab but it’s gotten really expensive and every time i go the prices go up a bit more. service is really good at times and mediocre at others. the juicy special sauce is amazing and the seafood is decently fresh. drinks are nice as well.
Ate at Juicy Crab in Macon, GA the first and last time! The steamed oysters were awful. Meal came out incorrect. Steamed shrimp were over cooked to the point you could barely peel them. I made waitress aware and ask her to let manager and cook know. She could care less…Manager did not even have the courtesy to come over and apologize. Don’t waste your money on a meal at this place.
One of the top 10 restaurants in Macon. I frequent the establishment often. Never felt neglected by the server, the manager makes her rounds many times and engage in Convo with customers. The staff seems to work well and respect management. If you are into seafood, this is the best.
Food and service where good. Had crab legs and it was messy but very enjoyable. Gotta go back to try the shrimp they looked good too. Served kind of like a low country boil. Our son had two items from the appetizer menu hush puppies and fried cheese sticks. He said both were delicious.
On last Thursday, my daughter and I ate at the restaurant and I ordered the catfish basket. I asked for it to be fried crispy and it came out extremely oily and soft. I only ate one piece and brought the rest home. My husband ate the rest and we have both been sick ever since. Our server was absolutely amazing and her name was Zykiria. I gave her a generous tip because she was a great waitress but the food failed this time and I will not be back.
This place was great ,the amount of flavor in the the food was incredible, service was fast and kind. Would definitely go to this place again. Had a bunch of different seafood options from crab to catfish to muscles. There also was no wait to get in. This place is definitely one of my favorite places to go out to eat. They had so much fun?
I LOVE this location. Everyone is always so sweet and welcoming. I have ordered takeout twice (and ordering again in a few mins lol) and each time my experience has been amazing. The location is always a vibe and I love waiting for my food and hearing the music/talking with the hosts. I can’t wait to actually sit down and dine in!
Placed an order online and it said it would be ready at 3:36 I arrived at 3:50 expecting the food to be ready but once I got there I was told that they did not start preparing the order until you arrived at the restaurant!! So what’s the point of ordering online if I still have to wait 30+ minutes once I arrive. Super inconvenience but the food was good.
The Albany, Ga location took my money for items they KNEW they did not have and then REFUSED to issue a refund. I was called a b*tch because I asked for MY money back. I will NEVER go to any other Juicy Crab and will be pressing charges for FRAUD with my bank.
Tonight was my first time visiting the Juicy Crab. The hostess and my waitress (her name is Precious) were very friendly. I was amazed how big the food portions were. I got full very fast. I was able to eat 1/2 of my cheese sticks, almost 1/2 of my friend shrimp, and a few fries. I ended up taking the rest home. Lol. The food was delicious. If anyone whom I come into contact with is looking for a great seafood place, I will send them to the Juicy Crab! Thank you so much for an awesome first experience! :)
