Ropa Viejo & congri. The plaintains Erin really liked, and the congri was amazing. The Yucca was really tasty too! 5/5??
We found this place on TripAdvisor. It was fantastic! We wanted an authentic Cuban/Latin restaurant and that’s what we got. We both had the roasted pork plate that included rice, black beans, fried plantains, and yucca. They also served complimentary freshly made tortilla chips and a good spicy salsa. The entire meal was under $30.
So, in the hunt for something different in Macon an I passed by this little gem and said 3 countries so of course I had to try it. Ended up get a Cuban and plaintains when I tell that sandwich was delicious and the pkaintains were fresh and hot. As far as portion the sandwich was huge and I only ate half until later but altogether everything was excellent.
The food here is absolutely incredible. The chicken bones were soft enough you could eat them if you wanted to. Tender and flavorful. The pork was spectacular, biggest and most delicious quesadilla I've ever seen, shredded beef was top notch. Neighborhood was a little sketchy, but restaurant was great. Not a fine dining place, but fine dining worthy food ?
Ordered a fajita, wife ordered another dish. Asked for some queso dip.Waiter responded.."We like to keep it authentic here". ?...correct me if I'm mistaken...3 countries is Cuban, Mexican and I'm assuming since it's located in America, then the use of cheeses/queso is an authentic request. The food was ok. The service was pretty much self-service. The only great thing I can add is the prices were exceptionally good.
It was a Thursday afternoon and they weren't busy at all. I got the cuban sandwich, fried plantains, tres leches and a lime jarritos. Everything was fantastic. Love that I can get a great cuban sandwich close to home. Daniel waited on me and he was awesome. I will be back!
Some of the best Cuban food I've ever had the pleasure of eating. I had the burrito and my mother had the Cuban sandwich. Long story short, it was all excellent. The staff was very kind and attentive. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you are in Macon!
So worth the drive from Warner Robins!!! We ordered the Ropa Vieja and Cuban Carnitas and almosted needed to be carried out, I was so stuffed! Everything was so yummy and best of all, it's AUTHENTIC!!! I'm definitely coming back.
Cuban & plantains were excellent and the service was also. Can't wait to return & try a few more things.
Was our first time eating here. The server was nice, helpful and professional. I tried the Arroz Can Pollo and liked it very.much. Wife did not care much for the ground beef used for.the Beef Taco Salad. Daughter got the cuban sandwich which was delicious and huge. The portions were ample and it was an excellent value.
