First time eating here. Excellent food! Had grilled tilapia and fried shrimp. Will definitely be back.
I love this place,I’ve tried almost everything from here.The fried green tomatoes are to die for! You wanna talk about shrimp? This is by far the best place to get shrimp from here to Florida! The service is always fantastic and Steve and the girls go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy yourself.
Had shrimp basket. Shrimp was jumbo and delicious. Service was very good. Our server was very attentive. Tea was excellent. Only one drawback: the fries were not so good, we did not like the way they were prepared. This will not deter us fron returning. Would have liked to have a baked potatoe as an option even with added cost?

Hands down the best fried shrimp and catfish in macon, and believe it or not one of the best burgers. I went here one day and was not in the mood for seafood and ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger and it was amazing.If you go at lunch get the fried shrimp plate that comes with fries hush puppies and coleslaw, it’s a great deal and it’s a lot of food.
We really enjoyed eating at Steve's while in Macon for the Cherry Blossom Festival. They have great seafood- Fried Whole Catfish, Fried Oysters and Fried Shrimp. The Fried Onion Rings were good too and great service!
Place has the same name as my dad and I'm named Steven as well but I don't go as Steve. Nice place was pretty full when we came by but we thankfully were still seated and served with decent timing. Food isn't that expensive and tastes good enough! I mean you get what you pay for I wouldn't stop by if your looking for a super nice meal but if you don't have alot of time or can't spend a whole lot it's worth it!
French fries need be better. Need to have other more healthier sides to choose with fried shrimp. Great service!!!!
Local hidden gem. A family business that has been in Macon forever a d a favorite to visit each time I am home to visit. Their ice tea and friend shrimp lunch plate can't be beat. They have very limited hours bit worth making the time to go and enjoy!
Simple, clean, good.This is a small venue but the food is delicious. I had grilled shrimp with grilled veggies of squash and zucchini, and everything was cooked perfectly with a crisp bite, not drenched in oil or grease like I've had elsewhere. The salad is just lettuce, a sliced tomato, and a red onion slice, with a tablespoon of dressing on the side, but that's okay, it's all I needed. The hush puppies were small and dense with a browned crust.I've seen other reviews so I'll be back to try their steak.
