This is our go to sushi place. Whenever we are in Macon- about once a month, we order to go. Their service is great, the food is delicious, and the sushi is SO fresh, we can count on it every time.
A great place to get food in Macon, Georgia.We were recommended by the staff at the hotel to try the Japanese hibachi restaurant down the street. Googling it brought us to this place. It is located in a strip mall between a Big Lots store and Planet Fitness. We found out later that this is not the location that they wanted us to try but we were both very glad that we did. It has booths along both walls and tables lining the center part. There is no waiter or waitress. You order at the back of the store. The staff was very nice and ordering off the menu behind the counter was easy. They were not really busy when we ordered and, when the food was ready, they brought it out to us. The drinks are serve yourself affair to the left of the counter where the chopsticks are available. I ordered the hibachi chicken. It came with a lot of rice, chicken and vegetables. There was so much food that I saved it and ate a second meal from what remained after reheating it. It was delicious both times. I am glad that I tried it and recommend it for fellow travelers in the area looking for great food.
Always delicious hibachi steak and fried rice w/onions. Never had a bad experience here.
I found this restaurant on google seeing it had great reviews, but I wished I had a great experience to leave a five star. After I ate dinner here I felt my blood pressure rise up immediately!! My head started hurting so bad and I experienced trouble breathing. Maybe because of the heavy grease/oil they use to prepare the food, but absolutely the worst experience ever, and not to mention they got my order wrong…done w/ it. Wouldn’t recommend.
Great food, every time! Any time we're in Macon, this is where we eat. Reasonable prices. Delicious poke bowls, great sushi, and hibachi that keeps bringing the customers. Counter-service, plenty of seating, great fries and decent nuggets if you have a picky kid.
I am halfway through my meal, and this is just delish. I’m impressed by what they served and the simple way they’re set up. Yummy yummy yummy.
Sake personnel never disappoint. Food quality and prep is always excellent. I wish I could have it every night. Thank you for your consistency and delicious meals. You are too notch.
