Ordered a pizza for delivery. The Works. Crust was way way over cooked ..almost burnt. The pits!! So crusty I could hardly eat it….delivered at 10:15p. It was like the crust was reheated. Ruined it for me. Last time the pizza was great….this time it was a total waste of money..,one piece and I dumped it.
I’ve given papa John’s over a week to respond and have yet to hear back. I filed a complaint after sending a pizza for delivery to a sick family member. When the driver arrived she told him a total was due. After going back and fourth about the fact it was paid for online and 3 different amounts due, she left with the manager saying they will figure it out. Looking at the receipt a cash total was showing due after the showing the pizza was paid for using a Mastercard. Shady, I’d say so. Then not coincidentally my credit card was compromised the following day. Perfect.. Not only does it look like they are they running some kind of scam, they are also taking your information.
The people that manage this place aren't worth the soil God birthed them from. Screwed up order and argued with me for two minutes about how, "I'm a manager, it's an online order." Had to open sandwich for her to prove to her she was wrong. Refused to make or refund order when proven how truly incompetent she was (manager). Had an employee push pass me to intimidate me. Offered to leave once order was refunded. They finally did refund me after 20 min of arguing. "Put em outta business Sam."
Poor customer service on the phone to take our order. All of a sudden the price increased in 2 days. We were not allowed to use the same special as 2 days before. When i asked about it she gave a one time 25 percent off but tried to hang up on me said i couldnt pay over the phone after she just asked if i wanted to. Never again! I dont understand why people are so hateful.
First of all no one were wearing ANY I MEAN ANY GLOVES!!!!! We are in a damn pandemic and NO gloves. One women making pizza wipes her hands on her pants then continued to make pizza. REALLY!!! Then it took way over 15 minutes. Everywhere else I go to buy food they wear gloves. NEEEEEEVER GO HERE! First time customer and now the last. Oh, no one washed their hands until I’d mentioned to them about the gloves situation!!
Papa Js used to be great. I've given them benefit of the doubt for years and just deal with the messed up pizzas and wrong orders because after all....its pizza and its hard for me to have bad pizza.Last night though, to try to sneakily get extra money ($10.17) on top of an online order that was paid in full, by adding a tip on top of the tip that was already given, then complain to management and get laughed at, put on hold to never come back...then to get bubble gut to the 10th power...and then to see that ironically your credit card information is now being used in multiple random places...you got the last laugh....for now???
Waited 45min for pizza and cheese bread after being told that it would be 15min wait...this while others came order and received there orders and left
I have not eaten at papa johns in awhile because I really don’t care for their pizza but decided to give it a try because it is the closest place to my house and I have been on the road all day. I ordered two large pizzas one pepperoni and one cheese, garlic knots and cheese bread. The pizza was almost void of sauce except by the crust, the garlic knots were okay but another pizza place makes much better. My family didn’t even try the cheese bread. Just disappointed in general. I will say service was fast and pizza was hot. The quality of food in many restaurants in Macon has gone down it’s a real bummer.
The driver with the red beard is super hot.
