Fun atmosphere, tapas options are delicious, especially the lamb lollipops!
Awesome tapas! And the best bartender!!!
Excellent service, atmosphere, and food.
It was a Friday night and we didn’t have to wait till 8 for our reservation. Ordered different types of oysters, it had sand in 4/6. For the shrimp tapas, either there was something in the source or there was something in the shrimp, the dish didn’t taste fresh…for the burger, the beef was a bit overlooked but the fries were good. The best one is the lamb tapas, tasted soft, juicy and not salty. It’s perfect. Good service but didn’t deserve 4 stars, I would give probably 3.5. The vibe was okay and the service is good.
We looked at this place online, saw the menu, and was super excited to try it. We came in and saw that the menu drastically changed and didn't have anything we wanted (duck or charcuterie board). It also took us over 15 minutes to get served for drinks and our food came out before the drinks!!!! Not to mention, the drinks were SUPER watered down and really expensive. I really enjoyed the Brussel sprouts and calamari, and raved over the lemony pesto. I did not care for my lobster bisque, but, mind you, I'm a New Englander who has had lobster in Maine, so I have a high bar to reach. The worst part was when our waitress gave us a check without giving us our entrees, the burger and the BBQ short rib. We looked at the check, and realized she didn't even charge us for our meals! Realizing that, we left, still hungry and out $80. I went across the street to Burger King to get my burger--at least they didn't accidentally forget to give it to me.
Great spot, to have tapas. We had the roasted Brussels sprouts, fried calamari and seared pork belly.Everything was very tasty.
Intimate location, small bar area, but I can see that it is a local favorite. Every single thing I tried was delicious. Fresh ingredients make all the difference. Small menu but makes up for it in flavor.
I wanted to like this place more. The baked oysters and pork belly were both delicious. I don't think you could go wrong on any of the baked options. Unfortunately, service was incredibly slow. I felt bad for their front of house as they were clearly overwhelmed beyond their control. To add, they were out of raw oysters and a nearby table was belligerent and drunk out of their minds. I'm willing to give them another shot, but this was definitely an underwhelming experience.
It was our first time dining at Miramar. The oysters Rockefeller were awesome. Everything was really good. Our server was amazing as well. It was dark and had to use flashlight on our phone to see menu clearly. Atmosphere was nice and inviting. We will be going back.
The food and cocktails were excellent! Wonderful atmosphere with wonderful staff and service!!
