Wow! The bagels are amazingly tasty; the bagel sandwiches mouth-wateringly delicious! Their sweet rolls, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and apple pie are all perfect! The staff are friendly and quick in prepping orders. The restaurant is super clean with delightful, quirky decor that will bring a smile to your lips...once you take a minute to stop eating and look around. This cool little place has instantly become my favorite breakfast and lunch spot!
As someone who has had bagels in all major cities on the east coast, I will say Macon Bagels beats every single bagel place in the adjacent area. I love getting their bagels and cream cheese and having it for the week. Not to mention they have some amazing tasting honey pecan schmear that pairs beautifully with a cinnamon bagel. And don't forget to get a honey bun ?
Perfect fit for downtown Macon. Best bagel I've ever had and everything else that I've tried is amazing as well. They do bagel sandwiches but they also sell their bagels, along with other pastries and the like. They also sell containers of their various cream cheeses and spreads. They have coffee, juices, and soft drinks. The atmosphere of the shop is adorable. They typically sell out of bagels fairly quickly so it's best to go earlier.
It must have been years that my wife and I wondered why Macon didn’t have a bagel shop. Luckily Macon Bagels opened and is super tasty. Yeah haven’t tried them all yet but the Out of Towner in the house favorite as well as just getting some bagels for the week. I do wish they opened earlier in weekends and the line moved a little faster but I’ll take what I can get! It really is quite good.

Really great to have a bagel shop downtown! The staff are all super friendly, the bagels are delicious, and the whole atmosphere is really nice. Everything I’ve gotten has been delicious but favorites so far are the out of towner, bacon, egg, and cheese everything bagel, and a garlic bagel with kimchi schmear. The herb garlic schmear is also really tasty and I highly recommend that as well. Looking forward to trying more on the menu!
