Absolutely LOVE this place! David (the owner) and his staff are top notch! Our food has always been hot fresh and delicious. Guitarras has (in my opinion) THE BEST chunky guacamole! I could eat it 3 times a day! I only eat pork, and my go-to meal is the burrito Mexicano. (pictured below) They have great mixed drinks here too!

Tonight's dinner with coworkers was amazing. Thank you guys! I even have enough left over for tomorrow. I'm full and satisfied. Great service as well.

Great food and the service is always excellent.

WARNING: I paid $42 for large margaritas. They were NOT worth that price, my lord. I might has well just bought a bottle if tequila and margarita mix for the same price...and more bang for my buck. The salsa was the best part. Nachos were so-so and I prefer nachos from other places in Macon. I did like their salsa verde enchiladas. It wasn't overly salty.

I've lived in the area for a year now and finally had a chance to try this restaurant. I'm kicking myself in the butt for waiting so long. The food is absolutely fabulous! Great portions and super tasty! Not to mention very reasonably priced! I got delivery and I couldn't believe how quickly it arrived and it was still really hot and fresh!! Will definitely be added to my rotation!

The service was pretty poor, even forgiving for how busy things were. Once the restaurant cleared out, there was little improvement. We were expediently seated, but it took 20 minutes before we got asked about drinks. The kitchen seemed to be in the weeds as well. It was almost an hour between sit down and food delivered. We have eaten here as a family (4-5) on weekends or as just a couple and everything, including service, was excellent. I am chalking things up to an unexpected guest capacity, hence the 4 stars instead of 3 as the experience warranted. 5 stars every previous visit.

Guitarras is a hidden gem if you’re looking for great food that’s accessible from I-75. Usually, when we travel, our family is happy if the food is okay-to-good, it doesn’t take too long, and it isn’t too greasy. Guitarras food ranked good-to-great, arrived quickly, and had fresh, light ingredients to boot. The salsa is homemade and perfectly spiced. My burrito had big chunks of nicely grilled chicken, crisp peppers, and a light cream sauce that was both flavorful and smooth. My husband’s chimichangas were perfectly fried - not greasy or heavy. Our son ordered soup, and it was full of big chunks of chicken, fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked rice. If we’re ever in this area again, we will definitely be back.

Great food at reasonable prices. Staff are polite, fast and knowledgeable of the menu. Clean dining area and restrooms...

I Ordered A PERFECT PATRON MARGARITA. The older non bartender lady made my drunk and I watched her. One shot of tequila (Patron) and topped me off with some nasty off brand tequila. The gentleman offered to put more tequila in my drink but that would have made it uneven. It was so nasty I had to let the owner know they need to hire a REAL bartender cause abuelita ain't cutting it. I paid $26 for a shot of tequila in my jumbo tequila mix....and the waitress.... nevermind!!!! This was horrible!

Horrible. We ordered shrimp fajitas, the Macon special and cheese fries with beef. The order took over 20 minutes to come to the table. Instead of fried and cheese we got rice and cheese. It was also missing the tortillas for the fajitas. We had to ask for the tortillas for the shrimp fajitas and the shrimp was mostly finished basically what was in the picture is what was left. The Macon special is advertised with chicken shrimp and steak with bell peppers, grilled onions, and mushrooms over rice. The plate had 2 shrimps and absolutely no mushrooms. I only chose this place bc it had 4.5 stars but today was disappointing. Maybe they can prove themselves to another guest?
