The bbq is ok but the ribs are so good! Highly recommend!
I have been in macon for a year now. First time coming here. I really had a hankering for ribs. My luck, no more ribs. Ok, reevaluate... I'll have the chopped pork plate. Prices Are great! Servings are small, and the pork was not very tasty. Kinda dry. The Brunswick Stew tasted mostly like finely diced onion in a tomato based sauce. Not terrible, but I'll find somewhere else next time I want bbq....
No Frills place. Love the BBQ, and it pairs well with the slaw. Love the Brunswick Stew! Would love to have it again soon!
I love when bbq taste as good as it smells and as good as it looks. They're menu is simple but the food is very good. I got their bbq chicken and the way they smoke it is amazing and the skin is perfect. The prices are very good. I will definitely be back.
We had Fresh Air Barbecue cater our wedding! They were amazing! Not only was the food on point they were pre-bussing and cleaning tables as our guest were done eating.
The beans were pretty good but no sure I can recommend anything else. The pork was bland with almost no smoke flavor. Had to add lots of sauce to eat. The Brunswick stew was just bad...threw it away.
I had the rib plate and my wife had the pork. Mine came with beans, coleslaw, Brunswick stew, a pickle and white bread. My wife's came with coleslaw and Brunswick stew, a pickle and white bread. All of the food was outstanding, this restaurant doesn't look like much but don't let that stop you. It's well worth going and you get a lot for your money.
Horrible. The sauce was nothing more than vinegar and hot sauce. No flavor what so ever. Horrible experience.
A different taste than I expected but really good. I can't really describe it but the pulled pork, Brunswick stew, and slaw all tasted different than I've ever had....but they were good. The pork was moist and I could taste the smoke and see some of the bark. Definitely a recommend.
Went in to grab a couple of chopped BBQ sandwiches for they road and a sweet tea. Sandwiches were good and the tea refreshing. Not busy the day we were in there. Outdoor dining for those that are COVID cautious. Also, drive through in side of building. I'll have to go back when I have time to order a proper meal and sit down to enjoy.
