Had lunch there yesterday. Great wings and the owner was super nice. Carl came out and talked to me while I was waiting on my food. Highly recommend.
At this point, the older woman taking orders needs to consider working in the back. I can’t fathom why she would think people would spend money at the establishment after being treating so poorly by her. At first I thought it was a bad day now I realize she is just consistently rude. Working with the public is not her strength. Who ever is close to her aiding in these business decisions needs to encourage her to stop taking orders. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t had at least one poor customer service experience with her. She is notorious around town for her poor behavior. It’s truly a shame because the food while not as good as it used to be is still a good quality. However, as good as it is I will never spend a dime there again.
Extremely rude woman working the front. She refused to speak to me because she thought I was talking on my phone. After standing at the counter for 6 minutes, I told her I was ready to order. She then yelled “I can’t take your order because you on the phone.” Her response should have been “I don’t WANT to take your order because you are on the phone.” I made the decision easier for her… I left. I won’t be back. I tried to give this establishment a chance despite the horrendous ratings. I should have listened to the fellow Maconites. AND…I hung up my phone call as soon as I walked in. I guess if you want to eat here, you better not have your phone in sight. What are we in, Kindergarten?!
i ordered a bacon cheeseburger with everything on it (i even specified) and they only gave me a bun, patty, and bacon. not even cheese even though it’s in the name. disappointing since i’ve had a long day and had to get home to discover that. wish i didn’t tip as well as i did.
Been a customer of this place since I was little and have always loved the place. They definitely are getting hit by the inflation and local economy, but it's great to see the owner keeps his spirits up. Absolutely love the grizzly gold, my fiance and the owner can't believe I can handle the heat but I love it. The guy knows his sauces. It can be a bit pricey there, but it's worth it.My only suggestion would be to have a value menu. Especially with college kids nearby, affordable options will definitely get attention.
I am a delivery driver. It is not right that they let the order sit on the counter for longer than 10 minutes instead of just letting me grab it when I got there. If you are going to insist on making the drivers stay outside than at least keep the food under a heat lamp or just don't allow any deliveries. It would be better for everyone involved.
Never felt so embarrassed in my life! This is a place my grandfather use to take me when I was a little girl, they was at a different location and the wings use to be so good I couldn't get enough. They are not the same at all. But a few days ago I went in there to pick up a doordash order. The first thing that happened was the lady owner yelling at me saying if you a driver go outside go outside, drivers don't come in go outside now very harshly in front of all the people sitting in there with no mask on. I had my mask on. No greeting no hey how are you mind you it's been a few years since I been there. I felt so hurt by the way she treated me. I cried to my boyfriend on the phone just to calm down. Because it was how she was yelling at me. I wouldn't eat there anyway because she is rude and the quality of the food has declined. She need to work on the way she speak to people because the old me would have been totally different.
The food is cooked to perfection AND minimal plastic in delivery. Everything I ordered was fried -- but I see no grease anywhere. How they managed to make this meal feel healthier is beyond me ? Thank y'all for sharing your table!!
Francar’s has some of the best boneless wings I've had, they've made it nearly impossible to enjoy wings at competitors' places. Friendly/helpful staff, the owners will joke with you if you're a regular, their sides (especially the corn nuggets) are absolutely top tier. Is definitely a must-go in my absolute opinion.
Wings are awesome 5/5!! Customer service was not very good. Was curious about flavors and their southern fried wings but when I asked questions the woman I talked to was rude. You shouldn’t try to make a customer feel stupid for asking questions lol.
