My husband and I came to celebrate my birthday and we had a wonderful experience. Erica, our server, is a gem! She was knowledgeable and provided excellent service. The food and cocktails were great! We had the specials (ahi tuna and the charcuterie board) and both were executed well.It was also Wine Wednesday, and we got to enjoy some wines at a really great price.
I am a very cultured person from southern GA and this is the first time I ever felt so offended I got up and left before eating. This environment did not feel people of color friendly. The owner had the waiter come warn us the price of our top shelf drinks was $38 per cocktail, before he poured. The way she stuttered through the delivery to two young poc made me cringe. I couldn't spend a dollar when I knew we ordered two market priced entrees! Not once did we ask the price of anything, so why did he have her come warn us of the price of some don julio?
Pleasantly surprised. When I first walked in, I did not know what to expect since we walked in to the smell of cigar smoke right away and the place appeared small. The dinner menu had a nice selection to choose from and the food was well prepared and tasted nice for the price. The only reason, I did not give a perfect rating is because I wish there was a separate entrance for people who don't want to come into contact with cigar smoke and despite having a reservation, we still had to wait a good bit to be seated.
Food was great and our server did a good job of taking care of us! I will say I was incredibly disappointed with the backlash I received on returning a drink - I ordered one of the *gin* cocktails and it arrived with peach vodka in it instead of a peach puree, it was not what I was expecting and I did not enjoy the flavor of the drink whatsoever, I asked politely to send it back and before I could even ask for a glass of wine instead another waiter popped her head in and told me that "alcohol sales are nonrefundable, let me try and tone this down for you", took it to the back and brought it back to my table in a tall glass filled with pineapple juice - I'm a type 1 diabetic, something sweeter is not what I wanted. My partner and I asked about my glass of wine 3 times before it finally arrived. Everyone at my table was done with their first round of drinks by the time I received my first glass. I have worked in the service industry for years and I was shocked to be treated this way - the patronizing attitude from this server created an atmosphere that I did not appreciate and will not be returning here in the future because of.
Wait staff is very knowledgeable of menu and specials. Extreme attention to all details was appreciated. The food was impeccable!! Very well presented and cooked to perfection. Such an enjoyable, relaxing evening with my daughter visiting from Athens. She was very impressed at the prices, the food, the selections of wine and cocktails and of course dessert. I had the chocolate chip, peanut butter bread pudding (I was celebrating my birthday) and it literally exploded with flavor and melted in your mouth! We will absolutely be returning soon!!

Eaten here many times, always spot on. Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff, unique atmosphere. You will probably want to make a reservation, as the tables fill up quick and rarely will you walk in to an empty restaurant.
