The table was not clean when we were seated. We had to asked if they could wipe the last persons food crumbs away. Really didn't want to touch the menu's as they were well used, wrinkled and food stained.The wait for food was long. When it did arrive, my grilled chicken tenders were flat. Maybe they put something heavy on it while cooking to make it cook faster? The flavor was okay. Our visit was just barely ok.
We had the Sunday pot roast and it was really good. It is served in a small crock pot with a lid. Our waitress gave us good service and was sweet and personable. As Cracker Barrels go, this one is run down with windows needing cleaning, missing globes on oil lamps, and a generally older appearance than most others we've visited. Thus the four stars instead of five. All of the staff was very nice from the host to the cashier. This Cracker Barrel deserves a mini face-lift.
Help Wanted Posts are everywhere and Cracker Barrel is no exception. You could tell they were short staffed. The food was still good. Could have been hotter, but still good (not great). Everyone was extremely nice and hustling to get people seated and served.Why five stars? Because you could tell they were struggling, but still kept it together and got us served. Everyone was helping getting the drinks and getting the food out. Not one employee was just standing around. They were ALL helping each other.Appreciate the service.

We stopped on the way home. Found some good finds for my mom from the gift shop area. Food was good. The waitress could have been a little more nicer. She made me feel like I couldn't ask for nothing from her. We needed more drinks, had to ask someone else for a to go box. Didn't see I our waitress that often. I didn't catch her name. The rest of the staff was very nice and helpful.
Food was excellent! Our waitress had a attitude ? and I had to speak with the manager, who was very nice and helpful. Before leaving I was able to speak with our waitress and explain the importance of customer service and being kind. She received it well and I felt like I made a difference in her day. She still got a good tip!!

There was hair in in my and my coleslaw was very watery and my food took a hour and a half to comes and my husband glass was nasty I will not be returning there again
Our server was so sweet! He kept our drinks full and refilled our biscuits! I love the antique style of cracker barrel, and these little spice shaker cows were to die for — also! Beignets?!? So clean and so nice!
