Craving some Chinese Food, we stopped here for dinner while traveling home from Orlando. The food was great, the staff was friendly and the service was fast! I highly recommend if are traveling. It’s right off the interstate!
It was an overwhelmingly positive experience at Chen’s Wok VIII. The staff was very accommodating and worked personally with me to find a meal that fit my dietary restrictions. Not only were they helpful, but also incredibly joyful and kind. You can tell that they care about each person and that they know each person is unique and unrepeatable The portion sizes were generous and plentiful. A further star comes in the fact that they were open late on a Sunday night and thus helped us dearly on our long road trip. We hope to hit all the other Chen Wok’s at some point, and definitely come back to this one in Macon again. Thank you Chen’s Wok VIII for an unforgettable evening.
Lovely people and delicious food. No frills, straightforward, just what we wanted for a quick stop to grab dinner on a road trip. They did not have ready to go vegetarian options so they quickly made up a veggie noodles takeaway for us and it is yummy!
Stopped in for lunch today and what a treat. Judy is a very friendly happy and helpful person when your not sure what to eat. We were there when she opened and the smell of fresh cooked food made me even hungrier. I had the braised chicken wings which was fantastic! I also had some hot & sour soup that was very tasty with the right amount of spice. Wife had general tso chicken with rice and sweet and sour chicken. Dont forget a spring roll. The place looks fast food but the quality of the food says otherwise. If you want to have some fresh, good authentic tasting Chinese food do not hesitate to make this your stop anytime you are in the area. Thanks so much Judy for a smile and delicious food!!! We will be back! Wanted to add a picture but it was too late...hunger won...lol1 more thing, the price for the amount of food you get is well worth it. Even a big guy will be full when he is finished.
Friendly service but the food is not fresh. The rice was especially old. I should have known not to eat there when I saw their sign saying no refunds, all sales on food are final.

Very good fresh food. My wife favorite here is the braised chicken wings. Nice sizes plates. Must try if you ever on Zebulon Rd. Hiding gem
