Arrived at 1037 am. Door says restaurant opens at 1030 yet the door was locked.I Don't like going to drive thru anywhere but this location in particular isn't truck friendly. I have an F250. Please open the dining room with the restaurant. Thank you.
Food was greasy. We sat in the drive thru for 15 mins with nobody in feint of us while the employees just gossiped at the drive thru window
Me and my grandsons like Captain D's. The fish recipe is very good. I have never gotten a bad order. Thumbs up to the cooks.
I asked for tartar sauce but I receive 5 packs of cocktail sauce insted, coleslaw was warm, picked up at drive thru, no utensils or napkins provided. Nothing was freshly cooked.
The girl in the drive thru was sooo rude. I ordered something clearly listed on their menu and she was so rude when telling me they no longer made it. If this wasnt a pickup for someone else, I would've left. Horrible service!!!!!
Terrible experience. At the drive through for 45 minutes only to get cold food. We waited 10 minutes at the speaker box and my husband had to ask if anyone was there. Never again will I pay what I paid today for cold food and bad service. You guys should have stayed closed down.
We arrived at Captain D’s, Gray Hwy, Macon, Ga right after 8:00 pm with people waiting in line. No one would answer in the drive thru. Closing time was 10:00 pm so after the other cars drove off we went to the drive thru pay window. There was one girl leaning on the counter on her phone. I blew the horn to get her attention, tried saying excuse me and then knocked on the window. When she finally got off her phone she signaled towards me with her finger up to wait. After a few more minutes she come opened the window. I asked when they closed she said 10:00 and asked if I could order and told her about the cars driving off because no one would answer at the drive thru. She said there was only two of them working so they weren’t taking orders. I asked her what time they closed she said now. I told her we had been at the window over 15 minutes. She called the woman from the back and said speak to her I not going to argue with this woman. I asked her who was arguing. I then asked for the GM number and District. They both claimed not to have either. They had no problem fixing themselves sacks of food and gallons of what looked to be tea. If I could give a 0 I would. The last time we went to this Captain D’s the sign outside had inside dining now available but the doors were locked. I also seen customers getting back in their cars and driving off.
It's at the point that if you pull up to the drive thru...you may get waited on and you may not. My sister is watching the young staff just look at the people at the drive thru pile up. I frequent this establishment because it is close to my home and my Mom loves the white fish. I go there at least two or three times per week. Today I had to leave because no one would answer the drive through. If you keep the staff you have taking to go orders...you are not going to stay in business. This is Gray Highway..Macon, GA.
Not much food for the money, ask three times for tarter sauce never received it. My food was decent, not worth what I payed for it. Person at window unfriendly.
If it comes to a time when a establishment doesn't have majority of the items on the menu due to low inventory then they should close for day and not have customer sit in a drive thru line for 30 mins to find it out.
