Bonefish is one of my favorite restaurants. I go there as much as I can. I like the bang bang shrimp, the sashimi tuna, and the wood grill rainbow trout. They used to have a crème Brule' to die for, but sadly, they discontinued that dessert. My family invited me today, on Mother's Day, after making reservations ahead. Unfortunately, the person posted out front of the restaurant took our information when we arrived and evidently was supposed to send an immediate text, which I suppose put us on the seating list; however, she failed to do that and we waited up to 45 minutes before I went back to speak to her because I saw other people being seated that had later reservations than we had. She first said the list showed we had been seated, then she said she could not find us in the system. She did go get an assistant manager and before long seated us. Our entire wait was probably an hour. Not too, too bad, but had she been more focused she would have realized that we were sitting and waiting . Of course, the restaurant was jam packed and we had to wait longer than usual for our orders which was no surprise. Our orders were the Poke Bowl with Tuna, Rainbow Trout, Chilean Sea Bass, and a steak with bang bang shrimp and sashimi tuna as appetizers. Needless to say, after the long wait both outside and in the restaurant, the food was delicious, an excellent temperature, and the wait staff was professional and courteous. I suppose the wait outside was as a result of not being aware, people make mistakes, but it is frustrating for a restaurant to make reservations then not have the table ready at the appointed time. I suppose they overbook, which really could be avoided when a restaurant makes reservations by booking less reservations. Better to have fewer happy customers than more dissatisfied customers I think.
I haven't been in a while and they didn't disappoint. The bang bang shrimp is still the bomb. The service we great and the food was when better.
I always enjoy my time here with family and friends. All my experiences here have been great! Good food and good drinks. They have mastered the key of being consistent!
The shrimp pasta was magnificent! Our waiter was so nice, and our food came out in a reasonable time considering it was a packed house on a Saturday night. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So accommodating, making every aspect of your dining experience the best ever! We go here for EVERY special occasion. Never ceases to amaze me with customer service.
Not what it used to be. Waiter didn't bring us any bread and the food was BLAND. Definitely not the well seasoned food that we are used to. This was the second time our food was like this, so we're done! Definitely won't be driving here from Warner Robins anymore ??
The food was Wonderful, the server was excellent!
Server was great. There was a hair in my food. If I’m going to drop $150 for dinner and there is a hair in my food, I shouldn’t have to ask for you to discount my meal. That should be common practice.
Out for date night, we had never eaten here before. I got the Sea Bass and it was delicious, only complaint was it was smaller serving size then I would have liked. Wife got steak and shrimp, it came out medium not medium well. But they fixed it and all was well.
We dined at Bonefish Grill - Macon over the weekend and our food was not good AT ALL!! Our service was great (4 stars for the overall service we received from beginning to end) but the food received 2 stars (I'm being nice with the 2 stars). We ordered 3 appetizers (mussels, crab fries, and imperial dip) and the mussels were decent. I did not like the crab fries, they were fries topped with yellow cheese sauce and a little bit of crab meat - not worth the price but a majority was eaten. The imperial dip was not that good, not a lot of seafood mixed into the cheese mixture, but it was eaten. For dinner we ordered the scallops and shrimp (which was pretty good) and the cod imperial. The word "imperial" should have been a clue, and it is after the fact, that the cod was topped with the imperial dip appetizer. The cod imperial was NOT GOOD AT ALL!!! The cod was dry, the imperial dip was not good, and the added capers did not help. The creamed spinach (an added $3 cost) was the worst I've eaten. The creamed spinach tasted like canned spinach mixed with melted cheese, kind of like a bad spinach & cheese dip, and the mash potatoes tasted like powered mashed potato. Thankfully our server was understanding and took the plate back. We've eaten at this location before and had a great experience, hence our return, but this will be our last.
