Really good ingredients. Check out the lunch specials. One favorite is the club sandwich with home made chips. Be a little patient until they get the staff numbers back up.
The food at this place was awful. I ordered a meatball sub, the bread was soggy, the meatballs were over cooked and hard, the fries were soggy. It was the worst meal I ever had. I ended up throwing away the whole meal which was $10 right in the trash. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to eat. This place was awful.
We came here about lunchtime, the place wasn't very busy, we sat outside and I ordered a Peach Margarita ($5 special) it was too sweet for my liking & a Mai Tai (I didn't taste the dark rum) both drinks were okay. For food we ordered fried mushrooms (fried perfectly & delicious), fried mozzarella sticks (my daughter said they were good), a bacon chicken ranch wrap (absolutely delicious!!) w/fries, sweet chili wings (again daughter said they were excellent) & we ordered a (half & half) large ham/pineapple & pepperoni pizza to go. Our waitress was sweet, helpful and honestly looked like she was tired. Place looks like they may need more help. Overall, great experience & very happy with the food.**Edit** the pizza sucked. The pizza oven(s) needs to be cleaned the bottom of our pizza was dirty from the oven, no flavor at all and barely any cheese. Will not get pizza from here again. 5 stars stays because everything else was great! Just don't order the pizza ?!
If you're in for pizza, you won't be disappointed -- great every time! Once you deviate into other Italian dishes, it can take a while to prepare depending on what you order. That wait doesn't always justify the taste for some dishes. However, we've never gone wrong with wings, salads, and pizzas.
Placed an order online at 4:06 and I was told it would be ready at 4:45. Arrive at 4:25 so I could get it as soon as it was ready..... and it had already been sitting out for who knows how long. By time I got it home, it was no longer fresh. My son therefore didn't like his Slice and my daughters pasta was a little dry. Had I arrived on time at 4:45, it would have been even worse! Not impressed. Don't recommend for take-out.
Our Calzones were absolutely perfect tonight! All 3! I know people are struggling to find good help and I’m always understanding to the situations with limited help in restaurants. However, you guys have found a great cook! Whoever was cooking tonight did amazing! It wasn’t greasy and it was fresh and very good flavor! Presentation was good also! We had it delivered thru door dash normally we come in. I wanted to say great job and thank you!
We just ordered delivery and had the BEST meal we have probably ever had from Johnny’s. My husband had a deluxe calzone and it was so big/full he couldn’t finish it. My son had the steak and cheese sub and he raved about it. I ordered a stromboli and it was perfect!! Our little guy devoured his cheese pizza slices. Everything was hot and perfectly prepared. I have to say, the delivery guy is the NICEST young man. He is always so polite! Just wanted to give props to Johnny’s for a great experience tonight!
Ordered take out. They made the pizza wrong, but noticed it themselves. Offered to remake it, then gave us a free beer for our trouble. Everyone makes mistakes. They did a great job taking responsibility and making up for it.
After multiple bad experiences we stopped eating here. Several years later we give it another try. Last night we ordered 2 calzones that were small enough to fit into a box together. One was full of mushrooms, which we did not order. Unfortunately I didn't notice until eating about 1/4th of it.Let's just say the food has not been kind to me in the last 16 or so hours since eating it
