We do a lot of traveling, but this is my favorite Mexican Restaurant. They have the best rice bowl. Most places just have chicken and rice. Here they put corn, black beans, white cheese, pico, etc. you also have the option to add stuff like cooked onions. I’m obsessed with this meal only made by this location. They also have really predictable salsa. Where if you like it, it’s more than likely going to be the same spice level the next time as well. I eat here all the time and it’s only been a little off once. Other places in this area are up and down on their spice level where this has just became my go to place every time now.
We love Cielo and have been loyal customers. Unfortunately, we will no longer frequent this establishment due to our treatment this evening. Tonight, there was a hair in our dish. We understand that this happens, so we pushed it to the side and continued to enjoy our meal. When the server asked us why we did not eat this particular dish we let her know. She offered to replace a piece of the meal, a single taco. Seeing as how it wasn't the entire meal we said sure, that'd be fine. It was when the management came to our table and was confrontational that we had an issue with the way it was handled. He came up to us and said there was no hair and he will remake the item and not going to charge me additionally, as if it were a favor. My wife pulled the hair from the taco and put it on the floor because we were not going to bring it up. It was the server who insisted on the replacement. Telling us that no one in the kitchen has long hair (but they do) and how the server's hair actually was similar to what was found in my food and making us feel like we caused a ruckus is unacceptable. That was completely inappropriate and rude. So, we will not be back. No customers should be treated in this manner.
Was a busy night tonight took almost an hour to get food but our waiter Ethan did not disappoint one bit, kept our drinks topped off and checking on us promptly and apologized for the kitchen being backed up over and over. He is a good one, very friendly and an upbeat personality.
We love this place. We come here every week to every two weeks. We feel like family every time we come in, and the food is always good. Shout out to Amber who is beyond beautiful, and recognizes us with a smile every time! A special shout-out to Ethan because the man is amazing. He remembers exactly what we order and who we are. Ethan is an extremely hard worker and deserves all the praise! Highly recommend!
I went at lunch time. It was not busy. Got seated right away. Waitress was okay. One of my main reasons I chose Ceilo Blue was bc they had fresh, hot, thin and crispy chips; not old bag chips !?! What happened? I got stale, cold, bag corn chips!? I ordered a taco salad with chicken. The shell was cold and stale. The chicken should be hot, not ice cold!? The meal was very bland tasting. The waitress only stopped by to check on me twice. I had to wave at her to pay and chase her down to get my card back. I normally have received good service and great food, but this visit was very disappointing. :(
The staff and management here are always so nice and do a great job. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at. The Rice bowl is my favorite dish, highly recommend that! Thanks again to the staff and management for always making sure that we have a great meal with great service.
A little disappointed to be honest. I had a lot of people tell me how amazing this place was. The food is no better than everywhere else. Drinks and dips are way overpriced. I paid almost $7 for an extremely small bowl of cheese dip. Okay.. then I ordered a HOUSE margarita with passion fruit flavor and it was $16. I couldn’t even drink it without watering it down though. (And not because of the alcohol). I also got charged for a kids soft drink even though the kids meal comes with it. When I mentioned it to my server she said she never told me that it came with a drink. I said you don’t have to it’s listed on the menu. She said oh okay I’ll fix it. I also asked why my drink was listed as a handcraft drink for $16 when I ordered a house. She said that’s just how it looks because I wanted passion fruit flavoring. She was very sweet… But still who charges $16 for a house marg? I probably won’t be back :/
Good food, good service! Order off-menu for more authentic flavors. Salsa is really good and chips tend to be light and crunchy
This used to be my husbands and I favorite restaurant above any other Mexican food restaurant and my husband is from California however the food has gone down hill. Nothing has flavor anymore and I ordered delivery today and I received 6 pieces of chicken and a bowl full of onions and peppers in a fajita plate. No flavor on the fajitas and there’s literally 2 whole onions in there and almost no meat.
Nice place. Good and service were great. Very reasonable prices.Tried the Oreo choro and it was delicious
