You MUST get the homemade lemonade; it's fantastic! The whiting and the fried chicken are excellent, although next time, I will order with less seasoning.
I'm so glad they finally put a sign up about the seasoning they put on the chicken. If you don't say anything they put it on everything. They have the best chicken wish they had flavors like lemon pepper or hot.
This place is a hit or miss on the food. I just left because they couldn’t find my online order that I paid for and it was supposed to be ready when I got there. I had to ask for a refund because I don’t have 30 minutes more to wait For their negligence. Go here if you want for service.
They have a decent selection and good taste. I had been to a couple of their locations and initially enjoyed their food, but lately they been dropping the ball. Last couple of times my sides have been old and the food cold. Make sure you check your food before you leave to make sure everything is on point. I was too thrilled, it seemed a tad bit overpriced.
I was really disappointed in my food. I couldn't believe the difference in the food day and night. The other day the ocean perch was so greasy and looked old. My okra was not cooked crispy it was soggy. I ended up having to return the items to got more soggy okra, but I told them to replace the ocean perch with flounder and the okra I tossed cause it was just as bad as the 1st trip. If I do return it will be at night cause that morning crew couldn't cook or something was really wrong. Was really disappointed.
Lady on the phone wouldn't give me the price of my order saying she wasn't close to the register and the restaurant isn't that big. I was picking up for multiple people that's why I was asking but other than that the food is always good.
I got cat fish filets. They were good and hot. The hush puppies were hot but had seasoning on them. I would have been happier without the seasoning on them, but the were hot and I’m thrilled when my food is freshly cooked and I don’t mind waiting for it to come out that way. I ordered Carmel cake made by E’vans. Save your money. It was horrible! The j and j’s food was good though. I wish the fish filets were meatier hence the 4 stars, but it was an awesome fast food meal!!
The service was terrible, you order on the inside and you had to pickup your order on the outside.I ordered a Catfish dinner, the fish was undercookedand soggy .I Won't Return.?
