Food order wasn’t ready despite ordering online for curbside pickup…I gave up on curbside in roughly 2 minutes and went inside to no one up front. The manager was quite helpful but the front staff at least was down right lazy if not entirely inept and seemed annoyed at even being there. Eggs were fried hard even though I ordered over easy hard. I heard them yelling at the manager about not knowing how to do it. Sigh. Not good here; hopefully corporate will step in. I saw families walking out.
Ordered online for pickup this morning and had the worst experience. When I arrived to pick up my order and parked in the pickup space as instructed, I called to let someone know I had arrived. The phone just rang continuously and then suddenly hung up (4 attempts)! After waiting a few minutes in my car, I went inside to attempt to pick up my order and was not greeted by anyone, though several employees walked passed me as they saw me waiting at the counter for assistance. Granted it is Father's Day and there is a good crowd waiting to be served. But you would think when everyone has been seated, someone would at least ask "Can I help you?" instead of just walking by you.i walked out and went back to my car, and noticed one of the employees who kept on walking past me saw me and my sister sitting in the car (in the pickup space) and still never asked if we needed assistance. However, it was entertaining to watch her and another fellow employee arguing over who stole whose table. I guess as long as you are dining in and can leave tips you matter. If you are picking up an order, you don't matter as much as you won't leave a tip???? Hmmmmm...maybe that's it! I know that I will not be coming to this location anymore!!!
TERRIBLE.....I hardly ever give one star, I understand the service business. However, this is truly a One Star Score. Upon my entry, there was no one there to greet me. I stood there for 18 minutes before anyone even spoke to me (I really should have left, but i was hungry and on a time crunch). The restaurant was absolutely filthy. Floors, Tables, Walls. Attention to details is highly recommended. Who is in charge? One waitress working during lunch hour, clearly over worked, frustration and overwhelmed. Although she did have a positive attitude, the time waiting upon entry, with the time it took to have the waitress come to my table to take my order and the time it took to get my food - combined was over 47 minutes. Ridiculous!I visited three restaurants while in the Lithonia area this week and noticed the same issue at all three places....ONE WAITRESS working during a peak time. Where are all the people who NEED to work? Clearly Management needs to get get their priorities in order ....or get out and let someone else do it!
Server got mad at me for an order that she 1). didn’t take down and 2). she got wrong. I know that it’s a hood rich area but she had no type of customer service all. I don’t get that at Olive Garden or any other restaurant in the area. Plus, it was gross.
Our server was Clarice. She was attentive and friendly. They were shorthanded, but she did a good job juggling. I was surprised that the place looked so run down in Stonecrest, a city they're trying to build up and make the residents proud to live there. The food was good.
THE WORSE SERVICE EVER. They have no servers the food when i received it was cold and the pancakes was like paper and not to mention they had us eating with plastic forks and knives. I was so hungry and excited to get my steak tips with eggs and cheese just to be disappointed. I thought being it was at the mall i was getting quality but I was DISAPPOINTED i got better service in the Ihop’s in the hood
When I was a kid, IHOP was the gold a standard of great food and service. I walked in on Sunday morning to this place. It was light with maybe 5 or so tables in all. As I was being seated I said can I get a coffee before you take my order. “No”, you’ll have to tell your server when she comes by. Ok, fine each server is tipped by their table so why do work for another server. I get that. 10 minutes later sitting at the booth, the server comes by. I ordered a coffee and a quick 2 breakfast, chose bacon but added a side of sausage links. 10 minutes later, my server brings out the quick 2 breakfast, no sausage links or coffee yet. I said “can I get my coffee now? Oh and can you see where my side of sausages are? 5 minute later, my sausages arrive but no coffee yet. I also realized that I hadn’t been yet provided with any utensils. 5 minutes after that coffee arrived (worst then gas station dump that has been sitting on the burner since yesterday) but no utensils yet because she forget. Came back 2 minutes later with plastic utensils set in plastic bag. By the time I started eating, everything was cold and soggy. No more IHOP for me from now on, at least not at this location that’s for damn sure.
The food is great but under staffed and those working are overworked. The menu needs updating. As a senior citizen I ordered the 55 meal with eggs, 2 of each bacon ham and sausage. The waitress said it comes with one meat, but the menu says different at the Lithonia restaurant. The other IHOP I visited honors the menu. Must be because it caters to black folks. I won't visit again, but the staff is fantastic. They need a raise to $15.00 an hour.
Server was friendly. Bathroom was clean, Food was decent. Prices are great! Just needs updates on the dining room area. Not too bad.
Went to this destination thinking it would be nice to sit and have breakfast but I was very disappointed had to wait a long time for seating then table was not clean so had to wait for it to be clean food was ok but my server brought out to go boxes when we were still eating this place I will give it a ?thumbs down no I will not go to this location again send me an invite once you have cleaned and fixed where needed
