Best subs ever!!!! Lovvvve me some Firehouse Subs!! Can’t even think about stopping at Subway anymore!! Lovvvve their rewards program too!!! Delicious tasting subs!!!
I've only been here a handful of times. I've never waited in a line with more than 2 people ahead of me. And wait time after ordering is less than 10minutes. I like the Italian, the ingredients are always fresh. I usually opt for a medium and that's enough for two small meals if you add a bag of chips. There's a shared parking lot for all the business. I know there's a ramp that leads to the restaurant but am not sure where exactly the handicap parking is. It may be on the side of the building and not the front. This is a good place to stop outside of the mall or Black Wall Street if you want another option. They also allow you to order ahead in the app. A pick-up area is designated.
I stopped by to grab a sub for dinner on a Friday night around 7:00. This is the first time at any restaurant that specializes in subs that I've waited 30 minutes to receive one sub. It appeared to me that everyone was completing Door Dash/online orders as they were the only orders consistently being made and placed on the To Go Order shelf. There were 10 customers waiting on orders inside, and 4 customers waiting outside on the patio for theirs as well. There needs to be designated people focused on in-person orders and another making online orders to ensure in-person customers aren't waiting for an extended period of time. When the food was finally ready, it was hot and met the expectations, but the wait is why I could only give it 3 stars.
Ordered inside at 7:35pm. I waited over and hour and when I inquired about my order the woman with the wild hair and no hair net became extremely upset and rude. The only reason I had not left by this time is because most other fast food places had closed or were closing. I understand being busy but the young woman behaved as if the customers were at fault. I will not come back.
The pastrami sandwich was tough but ok. The restaurant itself could use a good cleaning. The staff seem unhappy for some reason, & so, the food is sad as well. I didn't get a pickle which, I always eat with my sandwich, so that affected the taste as well. Also, compared to other sub shops, they are very slow. All in all, I wouldn't go back to this particular location.
While I was waiting for my sandwich, a lady (about 45 yrs) asked the person in charge what happened to her food since she watched 4 people who came in behind her, order and get their food and leave. Guy in charge said do you want your money back? She said she just wants to know what is going on with her food. He said I can only give you your money back, and said he is too busy to attend to her. He stated that he is short one person and had 3 steamers down. Said he doesn't make enough to put up with issues, due to this is his 2nd job and really doesnt need it. She asked him his name at least 6 times, he refuses to answer. Worst customer service i have ever seen. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he should not have treated this lady this way. She was upset but stayed professional.
Came for a pick up order at around 8:15 and there was a sign that said closed on the door. Many conflicting reports of why they decided to close early. I had to wait outside while my food was being prepared after telling the staff I’d already ordered online and paid. Of course this was the night it was about 40 degrees smh ??♀️. Order was given to me much later than what they specified. So many people turned away stating they wouldn’t bring their business back. It’s sad considering there aren’t many decent restaurants around this area
This location has gone down since the black own sold the store! The children working there don’t make your food well. It’s always messy. They are polite and seem to be doing there job but they need managing. Please work on this store please.
Love the subs from here. Great service. I enjoy the J*** Turkey Sub.
One of my go-to places in Stonecrest/Lithonia. Never messed up an order. Never been slow. Employees have never been anything but great. Steaming the meat and cheese like they do makes a huge difference. You could go to subway 5 times and not get the quality of a single firehouse visit. Also, their cherry limeade is fantastic.
