To much salt!One of the leading killers among black people is salt. What we think is good seasonings is actually to much salt. The rib tips were to fatty and tough. Sorry I want to like and promote my people, but I can't with this place. Let it marinate and cook rids low and slow. Guess I need to open my own place. Kansis City style mixed with a little southern culinary goodness. I done talked up some hunger, let me fire up the grill.
I don't do pork so I didn't have any. My patient was very happy with her BBQ she said it was tender. What I know is she ate it all and didn't need encouragement.
Placed an order through DoorDash. I ordered ribs, baked beans, and potato salad! The food was absolutely delicious!!!! I normally will not eat anyones potato salad but this was so good! The only problem I had is they didn’t give me any bbq sauce ? and I requested extra bbq sauce. You have to have bbq sauce with bbq ?that was my only complaint! Otherwise the food was great!!!
This is the best food I have had in a long time. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Mac & cheese was amazing. I highly recommend this place. If your looking for great food and customer service give them a try
Today was the first time I didn’t enjoy my food. I had rib tips with Mac n cheese and collard greens. I through the entire plate in the garbage. WORST customer service always. with the exception of one guy, wish I knew his name. They totally disrespect their customers. They’ve done it to me and I overheard the cashier talking disrespectfully to two customers in front of me. I kept coming because the ribs were so good but today was a huge disappointment.
Me & my friends used to eat from this place and get the same thing all the time after work. I don’t know if who ever answers the phone is someone new but his customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced & his tone showed that he didn’t care. I explained to him that I get the 2 meats & 2 sides every time I come here & the meats that I get are double ribs (8) because they usually come with 4. His response was “If you got anything like that you didn’t get it from here. You don’t order here all the time because I always answer the phone.” Unnecessary attitude & didn’t try to accommodate me at all. Wish the older guy was still there because I’ve never had any problems until now. This place will not receive my services again.

Finally found the best BBQ restaurant in the area!!! This a hidden gem ?! Ordered the rib tips with the side shown and a smoked sausage(sharing of courses) paid only $21 dollars and change.Its worth noting they are welcoming. OG in the front is real helpful and you can tell they all work hard just by that. Also, heard a meat cleaver banging in the back, and thats always a great sign in any BBQ joint.They also mentioned that they also, haven’t raised their prices since the pandemic.That’s worth noting because I just ate at a BBQ joint earlier this week and paid the the same price for 3 little ribs and 2 sides.Here I got my moneys worth with some love on the plate!!!Will return….
Ordered the catfish dinner. Came out quick, hot and delicious! I started digging in before I took the picture. The Mac and cheese had the perfect home-made consistency ??.
