This place here when you a Out Towner and craving for barbecue this the place to go or you live here either or. Food is to die for good customer service. Will return.
The food is great. HOWEVER, pay attention to your receipt. I was charged for a wing combo at $9.50 plus tax. I went back to get a refund and they only refunded $3.50.
Tried them today got one meat and one side $7.99 and a bottle drink for $2.00 ended up paying $10.99 for everything. The barbecue rib tasted old like it was cooked yesterday and the turnips were not very good I ended up throwing the rest away in the parking lot also the staff wasn’t friendly no thank you for trying us out or anything they acted like I was bothering them will never be back sort of happy I’m moving from Stonecrest some African Americans aren’t very friendly they act like they have a chip on their damn shoulder. I’m supporting you a black business and you can’t even smile and say thank you. Horrible!
This place is great! Lemon pepper flavored wings here are definitely the best I’ve had. Thumbs up to the cook—Omar.
Friendly service and food hits the spot. The pulled pork is tender and flavorful. The big rigatoni mac & cheese tastes better than you’ll get anywhere else. The sweet potato soufflé tastes like Thanksgiving and Christmas.Update: I tried the banana pudding and it was not good. The portion size was generous but the pudding had a funny, artificial flavor taste and there were no nilla wafer/cookies in the actual pudding other than the ones sprinkled on top and sides for garnish.
I ordered a rib plate using Grubhub delivery and the food was okay but I paid $20 dollars to receive one rib in my meal! I will never order from here again
Very neat and accessible restaurant. They provide large portions and for reasonable rates. I liked the menu a lot and the staff were super attentive and chatty. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
Ordered the chopped chicken, baked beans & Mac. Was skeptical because all their sides are “vegetarian” supposedly but it was all pretty good. Also received the best customer service I’ve ever received from an Asian guy ever lol
I've been sleeping on this place. Had the veggie plate. Beans were probably the best I've had in a few years. The Mac and cheese didn't look great but I got it anyways. It tasted way better than it looked. Then I got the collard greens.. not usually a fan of collards but these were actually good too!!
I tried to call this establishment to try to figure out a solution for the terrible salads i purchased. We love to support black businesses however bad food is bad food. We ordered 2 chicken Caesar salads for 9 bucks a piece and we basically received wilted ruffage and frozen chicken strips that were extremely cold. We couldn't even eat the salad because it was so bad and had to throw it out. I called several times so I wouldn't have to drive back to the mall for a refund but like i thought, they didn't answer. I don't knock any black business, get your money but we as a people spend too much money on food and AS A PEOPLE you should definitely know what we do and don't like when it comes to our food and cheap frozen food doesn't work when you're charging 9 bucks a piece. Please so better and we will never eat here again.
