I never in my life tasted Shrimp fried rice that tastes like theirs. It was all kind of fresh vegetables inside of it that was cooked to perfection with an added bonus of Yum Yum sauce ? I will definitely go here again!
Good spot. The cake melts in ya mouth. Every food item comes in large portions. I especially love the jerk queso fries, very supple and flavorful

My wife and I were at the DDV across the street and stopped by. We were skeptical because we are both vegetarian, but they have TONS of options for us! We ordered the veggie fried rice. Portions were generous, the veggies were fresh, and the meal did not sit heavy the way fried rice usually does. Rosie was cooking in the back and her sister was taking our order. They were so friendly and obviously proud of their work - deservedly so. We plan on coming again!
Ordered fried shrimp and shrimp fried rice. The hush puppies tasted homemade. The shrimp rice was so delicious. I didnt need to put any sauce on it and it had plenty of shrimp.

Waited 1 hour 5 min . Wasn’t the worste part . I figure the lady was cool and wanted to support local black business but here is where I draw the line . Why waste my money on food that wasn’t seasoned and nothing what I expected . Fries were over cooked but don’t get me wrong she hustled to cook a big order for me . The older lady was very slow at the front but polite . It’s one thing to have family or people you know working with you but another thing to have slow business and unhappy customers who paid hard earned money for bland food . Best part was the Oreo cookies and the Mac and cheese was dope but man I couldn’t believe how plain the catfish was and I paid good money for it all. My kid wasn’t feeling the meal and he loves any kind of fries and food. Maybe she has better quality food other days but I guess my first impression on the dry catfish and unseasoned oakra is a fail . I was more disappointed in the long wait time and my high expectations form word of mouth about how “good the place was “ smh . I wish this place nothing but the best and nothing against the people and loved the decorations and hospitality but as far as speed and seasoning satisfaction is unacceptable. This is good criticism because I can’t say all there food is bad but just my order wasn’t what I expected .

Bruhhh... Where has this place been all my life? So good!!! Excellent customer service.. Food is LITTTT!!! Cooked & Seasoned to perfection! Big portions.. Reasonable prices.. And I don’t know what’s In that lemonade but it’s BOMB.. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing my whole family next time!
