Very good food! The place does need a remodeling. But we all come for the food. You will need to order at the counter. We didn’t know and sat down waiting.Make sure you tell them if you don’t like spice. They didn’t ask but i would say it’s a level 2 spice for people who enjoy it. So ask for more or less.Very nice people. If I lived here I would go allThe time. There is a resin it’s highly rated. Enjoy ☺️
BEWARE! You'll eat more than you should because the portions are generous and the food is delicious. I had the Beef keema karahi, and even though I live an hour away I will definitely be back for more.The wait staff was friendly, and the service was prompt. 100% recommend.
Had iftar here tonight & Shalimar did not disappoint- as usual! Not my first time coming here to eat. The quality of food & service is unmatched in the area. This experience was great. The Ramadan buffet is astounding. Great selection of dishes. They included dates & fresh fruit as well as the usual hot items- an especially personal effort was made to accommodate brothers & sisters who have been fasting all day. My favorites on the buffet were the chicken Tikka masala & chana masala. I don't know who does the cooking, but they're very talented at their craft. The food is always amazing!
I highly recommend Shalimar Kabab House. The food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor! The veggie samosas are amazing and have all the spices you expect. The chicken tandoori and rice was spicy, but in a good way. I normally get this dish over jasmine rice, but the house rice is amazing! I cannot say enough about the excellent service. They were busy, but they never neglected us and made sure we had everything we needed. The portions were huge! Everyone had something for lunch the next day!
Food was fresh and tasty especially Paratha was crispy and hand made .
My husband and I ordered the boti sizzler, garlic naan, veggie samosas, and fried chicken and fries. My sister ordered one of the curries with a side of jasmine rice. Everything was phenomenal, and the staff was so friendly and helpful.I will definitely get the garlic naan, boti sizzler, curry, and samosas again. Already talking this place up to family and friends.
Food was great! Loved the Chicken tikka Masala Chicken Biryani best one I have had so far and CK kebabs!!
I am a big fan of south Asian cuisine, so I have eaten at many Indian and Pakistani restaurants. I have to say, this was by far the tastiest, most delicious food that I’ve had. Our server was so nice and our experience was overall incredible. The chai, garlic naan, kababs and butter chicken were A+
Happy to find this restaurant. Very delicious food and great service. We specially like karhai it is served like back home and taste the same. All the nans we tried are top notch. For deserts we have only tried kheer and like other food items it is great too. I would not recommend nihari though it is not near what nihari tastes like.
Food: wonderful, would definitely go back for it. Chicken Tikka masala was excellent, butter chicken was amazing, lovely naan, and so forth.Dining/service: plastic utensils and sub-par as far as being waited on. Paper cups for water, sort of half self-service. The staff are friendly and helpful, however.
