Delicious. Drinks are good too. Tips are already added to bill. Would definitely do it again.
My best friend and I came to Mamajuana for brunch and even though it was empty we had a pretty good time. So much of a good time we stayed over 4 hours. The mimosa was bottomless and the food was SOOO good. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. The people there were VERY friendly. We will definitely be back to stay longer.
Went for a birthday celebration. Food was good but service was TERRIBLE! Server couldn't advise of anything good on menu nor describe any of their dishes... not sure if she was new or just didnt care. My friend speaks fluent spanish so it was not a communication issue. All of our dishes came out at different times so none of us could truly eat together. Half our table had no silverware. Waited 10 mins for our server who was standing at the bar in plain sight staring at her phone, to LOOK UP from her phone so we could get her attention for silverware and drinks. She was on her phone while walking by tables and standing around doing nothing. The place was dead, service should not be so bad. To be so blatant about not caring for the customers was shocking. Music inside clashed with the overly loud dance music playing outside where there is no dance floor and was only about 7 people. We could not even carry on a conversation inside because the outside music was so loud. I recommend only if your taking the food to go or are only there to dance (I assume it gets busier later).
Nice place to feel like you’re in D.R. ? Food tasted like someone’s grandmother cooked it! Delicious! Be careful of that Mamajuana drink ?
I had really high expectations after seeing Mamajuana’s promo on TikTok. I’m somehow a bit disappointed.Pros:-Drinks were good-Food was great-Waitress was AMAZING and top notch service.Cons:-Music EXTREMELY LOUD. DJ should adjust volume according to the space and area he’s playing.-Dining space is very limited.-Decoration and ambientation is poor.-Needs a bit of cleaning and update broken floor.Would go again?-It is unlikely that I go back.Would reccommend?-Not personally. Just go and try it, your opinion might be different.

What’s that is that supposed to be chicken? Disgusting it was my first time and it’ll be my last time. I’ve had good Dominican food but this ain’t it. The way that lady was rushing me on the phone I should’ve known better.
The food was okay. What I expect from a restaurant is to feel that you arrived to a restaurant. Here you feel you have arrived to the limbo. I had to ask what’s the process, do I sit myself, do I wait? They have no greeter and waitresses make you feel that you are not welcomed. I am Dominican and I get disappointed every time I come to a Dominican place with bad customer service. Disappointed ?

I ordered through the Uber app an order of Chicken Breast. When you eat at the restaurant they give you the side of rice and beans unless you want something else. Well apparently after calling and speaking to the lady who answered the phone, they charge $16 for a piece of chicken breast with no sides. ??? Seriously? This some type of scam or what? $16 for only 1 piece of chicken breast and no sides!?!?!? Ridiculous!!!!! Next time I'll stick with Cafe Dominicano. Their food taste better anyways, cheaper and a bigger portion! Ridiculous.
