For a latin person trying to find comfort foods in a different state - so glad i found them! Not as cheap as Jersey but it is what it is. Friendly service, good foods and dessert to snack on! Go pay them a visit ?

Delicious crab ? pastelitos. Great customer service!
Bought a $106 two pound cake from them. Was really excited to get this Dominican cake like I use to in nyc. Unfortunately the cake was really dry like it was old. Also, I’ve never encountered food coloring from cake that takes 2 days to wear off your hand! Unreal. Won’t be getting my business again.Que pena ! quería disfrutar este bizcocho pero estaba bien seco.
The empanadas are amazing and the come in so many flavors ? i love this place
The food is excellent. No idea if it is authentic or not, but I do know you should expect mostly Spanish, enough English to get the job done, and to leave with excellent goodies (both savory and sweet).
I barely write reviews but I had to in this case. Wanted to give this place a real chance because as a latino married to a Dominican and former New Yorker living in SC its hard to find good Dominican spots, but I ended up very disappointed with the food and service. We just came back from a long day at Stone Mountain, with young kids, and on our way back home to SC, about 2hrs away, we decided to stop by and meet friends that live in GA, who happen to Dominican also, at this spot to have dinner. We get there about 7:30-8 on a Saturday night and didn't get our food till 9:05pm. Let it slide being a big party and all, but rice and beans fries and chicken fingers for the kids shouldn't take that long to bring and should've been brought out first. I ordered Mofongo with melted cheese and a side of chicharrón and asked numerous times if they can bring me a side of meat gravy but it wasn't brought out until half way into my meal. The Mofongo itself lacked flavor and the Chicharrón was low in salt. Then my mother, who was with us, ordered chicharrón de pollo with tostones, pretty simple dish. The chicken ended up being raw on the inside (see pics). The waitress offered her another dish but at this point my mom was repulsed and lost her appetite. We let our waitress know and asked to see the manager. Manager never came even after the waitress assured us she was coming. Asked for the check and they included the raw chicken in the check!! I asked why are they including that and she yanked the check out of my hand and went back to take it off. My mother ended walking over to the counter to speak to the manager because she never came to the table, even after multiple requests. The manager then came to the table to "apologize" to the group giving excuses that she can't control what comes out of the kitchen and throwing my mother under the bus for her bad experience. At this point we just wanted to get out of there especially since my mother was not feeling well after biting into that chicken. Will not come back and being that there are so many other latino options on the same strip of road and in that area we will patronize them instead next time we come to Stone Mountain or visit friends near ATL.
Great food ??
