Everything I've had here has been excellent quality !!! For a fast food/burger restaurant, definitely my #1 choice ! Everything is made fresh to order with quality fresh products ! The menu is very diverse from fresh vegetarian burgers to Philly Cheesteak to chicken Ceasars salad, all fresh and great portion sizes !! Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable, greeted with a smile and food brought to your table !! My cashier Cam was very friendly, greeted me with a smile, was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive, he checked with me after I took a few bites asking me if I was enjoying my food. You just don't get that level of quality customer service any more these days !! I just can say enough about this company. They make corporate donations to great community its organizations!!! Keep up the great work, I will definitely be returning !! And June 25th free milkshakes !!!Was awesome ? I had to order and pay for another one lol ? They are the good old fashioned tasting milkshakes !! Very clean also ? 5 stats in my book !! And I rarely award 5 stars anymore !! So well deserved !!
Cheesy burger was very good today. One issue was that Customers were causing a ruckus because the manager couldn’t speak good English. Couldn’t deal with a easy situation because they couldn’t understand one another. Seems like a stressful work environment for the rest of the workers. There won’t be any 4-5 star ratings if this happens to every customer that walks in. The food is good, staff was smart and good at “their” jobs. I might be coming back
I went to Wayback burger and Josh was the cashier he was AMAZING!!! He rang our order up right, but the cooks messed it up. I was just amazed on how he took control of the situation and made everything right. No one was rude and we we’re taken well care of in a timely manner. Thank you young man. We need more people like you working in these restaurants especially since the pandemic people are so rude. Thanks for making our day we’ll be back!
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! My wife and I used to love eating here. The staff was really pleasant and the food was great. HOWEVER, there was a recent change in ownership and the quality of food and service is extremely bad. Apparently they are short staffed like the majority of restaurants and fast food establishments. They only had 3 men working and one of which couldn’t read English and there was a language barrier preventing him from being able to read the names on the receipts. Needless to say, our food was left under the heating lamp. We scheduled an online order and we ended up waiting an hour for our food after our designated pick up time. The burgers were soggy and the fries were cold and old. It was just a horrible experience! I don’t recommend eating here until new ownership takes over.
The hubs and I were in Georgia for the past week for certification classes for the hubs and I was craving a burger tonight. I Googled burgers near us and quite a few popped up. I ultimately chose Wayback because of the menu and the pictures. The burger I chose was the cheeeessssy burger and a side of tots. The hubs had the double bacon burger and a side of chili cheese fries. HANDS DOWN the BEST BURGER I have EVER had. The meat melted in your mouth, the bun was cooked perfectly and the cheese...oh the cheese...lots of it and creamy and melty...PERFECTION. I only have pickles and mustard on mine because if I wanted a salad I would order one!! This burger was 100% perfection!!! The hubs agreed...his was also the BEST burger he has ever had also. The meat again, seasoned perfectly snd so tender it melts in your mouth. The right amount of bacon and cheese...he likes a salad on his so he had the lettuce and tomatoes...the only thing we're the fries weren't very tasty...the chili was...but with how good the burger was the fries were a little bit of a let down. I wish they had been house made instead of the frozen, that were over cooked and a little cold. But that isn't going to stop me from giving Wayback a 5 star!!! I went for the burger and it was DELICIOUS...if we come back to Georgia we will definitely be here!!
We were looking for a good burger and tried way back. It was not crowded. They were cooking food to order, but somehow was not hot when we received it. It seemed no different than low quality fast food for 3x’s the price. Will not return.
I use to love this place. Looks like they’re under new management and it’s just about money now and not any ounce of care for customers.So sad to see a great burger place go out like this
Place is incredible a little bit pricey but every time I come by I feel like it's definitely worth it..If you want good burgers and are in the area definitely stop by
1-19-21 I ordered the Fiery bacon burger, the burger was missing the bacon. The most important part of the burger was missing?!?!? The woman who took our order doesn't speak English very well, and is impossible to understand. This was our first visit to Wayback burger's ever. Located at 1030 Old Peachtree Rd Lawrenceville, Ga. The burgers tasted good and obviously I ate it, without the bacon because I was hungry! But come on man bacon is in the name of the burger, how can you forget it??
We have been coming to this location for a while, always have experienced delicious food and great service. We were so excited about today’s order only to come home and find that our burgers were missing the requested condiments. For example, the Double bacon cheeseburger was missing the bacon, the cheese, the lettuce & tomato & the requested chipotle mayo.The single cheeseburger with grilled onions was missing the cheese & onion.We were also missing the requested blue cheese dipping sauce.12/18/2021 Ticket # 751100686Angel took the order beautifully. The cook did not prepare correctly.I’m not sure if we will order again.
