Food was good but I like the chill vibe more. A nice place to visit in the afternoon while enjoying an adult beverage and grabbing a bite to eat. I like their outside seating area.
This a fun and laid back atmosphere. The servers are attentive to all customers not just tables that they are serving. My food was delicious ? ? and I had a pretty good drink as well. This was a fun and inexpensive date night for me and the hubby we will definitely be back!!Fun fact it was my server Madeline's first night serving and she was absolutely fantastic ?? ? ?
Team was professional, fun, friendly Sawyer the mgr, Cody bartender and Stephen bartender . Food is good also. Recommend add to Lawrenceville bucket list
UJ Never disappoints! We had fried Brussels Sprouts ! A Cuban . A Blue Cheese Burger and Thhhhhheeeee Ollld 1-2 ! Sara J was in the spot and meeting Sawyer was a pleasureIf you haven't been , you are missing out .
The worst grilled chicken sandwich I have EVER eaten! No one liked a their food but my husband’s gyro and daughter’s quesadilla were at least edible. I don’t even know how to describe how horrible the chicken was. I’m never mean but the only word was gross! And at $13.50 for a chicken sandwich (and fries), I expected at least edible food! We did enjoy the atmosphere and our server was nice. And we paid every penny even though a majority of our food went in the trash. I even told the waiter twice that it was gross and a manager didn’t even come over to ask me about it and I wasn’t offered a new sandwich or discount. Bad customer service + subpar food = never again!
Nice outdoor environment! ❤️
U-Joint has the best food in town, hands down. They also have a rotation of local craft brews, in addition to usual bar items. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, being both kid and dog friendly. From Sunday brunch, to lunch dates, to family dinners, the food and service are always on point. My favorites include the southwest egg rolls and chicken quesadilla.
It was my first time there. The waiter who is a twin was great. But the food wasn't what I thought. They had this lemon zest dressing that was pink and chunky. Which taste spoiled and not good. My friends had the Brussels and they were overcooked and burnt. Giving the fact my friend said their lunch is all she tried. Made me think maybe it was an very off night. My party was a total of 10 people. There was music and dancing . Great to hang out with friends. I heard they do things for first responders like packing bag lunches.Because I love that part. I didn't give 1 star. But the food wasn't what I liked. My black bean burger was okay. I had no bun and they charged me extra $1.50 for lettuce. Which I didn't understand the point.Overall it was a night of understanding grace.
Came here for a small reunion of my mother’s coworkers. Plan was to have some food, a drink, and leave. We had a fantastic time! Not only did we eat but we had SEVERAL rounds of drinks. All of this was due to the FANTASTIC service we received. Our server Julie was always attentive and a wonderful bad influence. The owner of the place came by and expressed his thanks for dining with him during such hard times. Loved loved loved this. THIS is how you get people to come back and spread the word about your business. Highly recommend. Had an amazing time. Thank you Universal!
Today my husband and I decided to eat at Universal Joint for the 1st time and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was friendly and the food was amazing good. We even met the owner, Bruce who thanked us for dining with them, how rare is that these days. We will definitely be returning. If you haven't tried Universal Joint you are missing a treat. Oh, and ask for the Lavender Lemonade Adult beverage....sooooooo refreshingly good.
