Worst tacos in town. Got steak tacos that are made with brisket and full of grease. Everyone I know says this place is great. Well I would say y’all are wrong and if you want good tacos go to any gas station that has a Hispanic guy in the back making them. 1/10 would not recommend coming here.

(Delivery Review)The Delivery: When ordered it came in a paper bag with the food covered, very standard can't complain about that. The bag is sealed if i remember correctly so you should know if people ate out of your food which is always a bonus. The presentation: The food was put in these chipotle-like brown bowels with a clear cover on top of them, sadly the lids did not stay on the bowls during transport. The Taste:Okay so here is the juicy part, first up is:(Cheeseburger Bowl) This was by far the worst thing i could have ordered on the menu. The rice was crunchy as if it was overcooked or not even cooked enough, that immediately made me put down the bowl. Last time I checked the rice isn't supposed to be crunchy.......and it was the same for other bowls too.(Tochos) This bowl had queso with tater tots, and honestly this was the only good thing to eat here. After having hard rice from the previous bowl, it def made me not want to eat but this gets a pass, not that hard to mess up tots with queso and beans on top thankfully. The Conclusion:Stay away from this place, it is not worth ordering out or even stopping by for a lunch. Save your money, don't ruin your date, and go somewhere else.TL:DR(Pros) .......Nope not one :P(Cons) Everything....

Very different. Super yummy!

This is not an authentic taqueria, nor is it trying to be. It is unapologetically modern, funky, and fun. The flavors for the tacos were varied so there’s a taco or bowl for any member of the family. The margaritas and the fritters were my favorite part and I would recommend ordering that. The taco fillings themselves were alright, but the tortillas were cold and the queso is just like any store bought queso. If you are in the area and you like tacos or bowls with interesting flavors, give it a try. I would not drive all the way out to eat this if you are not in the area, but it’s tasty.

Solid tacos!!! The queso was good but the salsa was excellent! Wasn’t as big of a fan of the bowl as the rice was a bit dry. The margaritas was very delicious! 4.5/5 stars

First timer here. Pretty good spot with some pretty good tacos. What actually sold me was the fact they have veggie tacos. And not some boring, usual veggie tacos. Nahhh.. these veggie tacos were next level; These tacos had personality lol. I ordered the cauliflower, fried green tomato and portobello tacos. All three were super yummy. ESPECIALLY the fried green tomato taco. The only recommendation I have is when it comes to the cilantro, they should really try reducing those stems, OR chopping them up more. I pulled out a couple long pieces. Other than that, Strange Taco Bar is definitely a thumbs up for me. I’d recommend this place to everyone I know. And I will def be back to try the other tacos and the queso and cheese. Thanks to the dope staff at Strange Taco Bar.

I wasn’t going to write a review but since they don’t answer the phone all day long this is where I guess I’m gonna have to do it. I had ordered six tacos today’s chips and queso I’ve never had a problem with this restaurant before it always was fresh and good today however was absolutely disgusting. Absolutely horrified to bite into my taco and hurt my tooth because the mahi fish was so hard. The cheeseburger taco had barely any cheese on it in the meat taste different. I honestly didn’t try the other taco because those two tacos were completely disgusting so I assume the other ones just as gross. I was a long time customer of strange taco but I will never return there again I cannot believe this came out of there kitchen. Never again what a waste of money

Wife and I came in to try the place out for lunch. We both were just looking for a basic taco that was NOT from Taco Bell.Came into this place at about 1pm on Wednesday 12/22/21. Place was moderately busy; its a walk up to order place with sparce seating inside but also patio seating.Menu is eclectic with basically tacos and bowls but with many different flavors.I went with the "original gangster taco" which is grilled chicken, onions, cilantro on flour tortilla. I got 2 of them, they're pretty small but extremely tasty; the chicken has an excellent flavor though I couldn't quite figure out the seasoning, but very delicious. The onions are diced which makes it less messy. I asked for grated cheese on the side so I could try it both ways.My wife had the "original gangster" bowl which was the same as mine but with rice instead of tortilla. She really enjoyed it.The ambience of the place is eclectic with kind of a hip trendy crowd that frequents the place, younger people, many students. The prices are excellent especially for the times right now. I paid $3 per taco, my wife paid $4 for her bowl, and for the flavor you really can't beat that anywhere.I had a Calypso banana lemonade bottled drink, perfect pair.Parking in the rear is hideous, no room for big trucks so be prepared to park on the street. So it's not a full blown Mexican cantina or anything but for a small taco joint its a definite go, and I highly recommend.

Well I was excited to try this place. I love tacos, however the meat for the tacos, specifically the fried mahi was precooked and barely warm when I received it. The sauces used were pretty nice but the tacos not being prepared to order was a dissatisfaction. I also tried the salsa. And I promise you this day it was only tomato and cilantro. There was no spice to it, nor seasoning. The tea was pretty good tho. So all in all, would I recommend this place to my gf? Nah fam
