I pulled up to one of the drive in spots and once deciding what I wanted to order, I pushed the button to indicate I was ready to order. I sat there waiting and waiting, finally someone came over the speaker saying they are only taking drive thru orders. What??!!Okay so I got in the drive thru lane. Waited and waited and waited and waited. Other cars started leaving. Finally I was next in line. I waited and waited when someone walked out taking out the trash. I asked what was wrong and he said they were short staffed. I said okay, be patient. I waited and waited and waited...the car behind me left.....I waited some more. I NEVER PLACED AN ORDER. Nobody ever took my order so I ended up leaving with nothing!!!! ? ? ?This was extreme but unfortunately it was not the first time it happened to me. In the past at least I placed an order after a long wait. Long post just to say that customer service is a lost art. Very disappointing!!
Ordered a bacon double combo. Asked for ketchup only. Ordered tots and a large Sweet tea.Got a double hamburger with 3x the normal amount of ketchup. No cheese, and no bacon.got a small tea instead of the requested large. Tots were the only edible food item I got.
This place has to hire more people or it has to shut down. It is absolute insanity that they allow people to purchase from the app (every time, just drinks) and they never bring them out. They end up saying they're too short-staffed, but they won't tell you that via the intercom at first. They just won't do anything until you have asked a couple of times. Today, the line would have been another hour I'm sure because in the entire time I was there, not a single car moved or got their order. So, I paid, waited and left with nothing after a half hour for a single drink.
Oh this place has gone down hill like an avalanche. Slow at first but now as in my experience. Drive thru line packed; many times because no carhops can tend to other ordering stations. No skatin carhops anymore. Everyone there seemsnto be on their 1st day. Also, I tried ordering a delicious yell. Cakebatter shake and was promptly told "sorry the machines down til tm for cleaning" i actually worked as an original employee there 15 years ago at which point I was willing to eat whatever from there for lunch but as of now I wouldn't touch anything from that place ever again.....
I’ve been here twice. Both times were during. Typical dinner hours, when staff should be available and expecting a crowd. The first time took several minutes to get staff to take my order, but once it finally arrived it was good.On my second visit, I attempted to wait in a drive in spot and never got anyone to answer the bell. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I attempted the drive through. The person in front of me also was not receiving any help. Both of us wound up leaving with nothing. This was at about 6:30pm. We did see employees in the restaurant, but no orders were taken.
Horrible customer service I had to wait 30 minutes for my order I was delivering for Door Dash. I went through the drive-thru and waited forever. Employees didn't seem to gave a rat's butt about helping customers despite only having 5 customers. Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. I will never go to Sonic to eat.
Ordered on line and pulled into stall 2 girl came out with a flaming attitude and gave an order 2 a truck in a stall a few spots down. Hit 2 the restaurant @ 10:11 and started getting irritated around 10:33. My wife gets out 2 knock on the window and can c 4 people in the store. They completely ignore her. I drive around 2 the drive thru and of course no one answers. My wife calls me as she is walking by the drive they window and says that she finally got this girls attention. She says that the order never came they the system. Finally get the shakes 23 minutes after that exchange…. NEVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN
Clearly my first visit was a fluke because they've been nothing but great each time I've been back, which is good as their Route 44s are plenty to sip on when driving from Atlanta to Augusta.
Never get my order correct at dinner time then they handed me a water down slushie and it was warm
My order was hot and correct. Staff was friendly. I never have to wait long when I visit this location.
