First time visiting... I've been to plenty of Grill like this ! The waitress looked very stressed couldn't handle what she was doing. The cook was also confused with what he was doing. All the food he made was Very salty. It was horrible. The whole experience of tricks and interaction he had none. He did absolutely nothing nor did he talk to us.We paid for our meal because I believe in people having a bad day. But when it came to letting them know they had no care in the world they just swiped the card. So good luck!
Today, I went to Shogun. My family and I had a great time. The sushi roll was delicious. I ordered more to take home. The ginger dressing salad was great too. The staff were very friendly. The hibachi chef was very funny and entertaining.
Shogun cooks up consistently excellent presentation with some of the freshest sushi Gwinnett County boasts. I've been dining here since 2018 and will continue to do so any time I am in the area. Their staff are always attentive and friendly, which is just a bonus to the top notch dining experience - not too shabby for the 'burbs. Their food is always prepared promptly and fastiduosly. I ALWAYS order their rainbow roll with EXTRA ginger and I've never been disappointed. My ONLY complaint is that they recently started including gratuity to the tab (even for a table of one), but I suspect this is due to their unfortunate experiences with rampant poor tipping.
Absolutely DISGUSTING!! We got a to go order today came home and half way through the meal found a BUG . It’s absolutely unacceptable!

Went here with my family tonight. The people work here usually good but tonight we have birthday and maybe is change? Feel like don’t really care and rude. I don’t know if can ask for the people usual take care of us? We come here lots of time but today was horrible experience. Chef was good like usual but other than that very bad.
Food food was amazing! We sat in the Hibachi area and it was pretty awesome because no one else sat with us. We got to talk and have some fun with the chef. We both got the chicken and shrimp hibachi and it was so good! Didn't love the cocktails but I'm a little picky on my alcohol levels. ??♀️
I’ve been here multiple Times however this time when I ordered sushi I was asking questions about the crunch roll even though I didn’t order it they brought it out. I was very nice enough to still pay for it even though I didn’t eat. I also ordered the seaweed salad however it was very disgusting and it tasted like it had already expired. Please do better when taking orders and also the quality of food.
Juan was an amazing server. If we had a problem he fixed it right away. He got the whole table order correct. The group that was sitting with us had a special request and they took amazing care of him. The chef did an wonderful job cooking our food and he played with the food to make my toddler laugh. If we were to come here again. I hope we get both their chef and Juan as our servers. I don’t regret choosing this place to spend our 5th anniversary.
Service was quick and friendly. I got the steak and chicken with fried rice and it was delicious ! I didn’t catch the waitress name or the cooker name but they were both very friendly :) oh and I forgot to mention I don’t like Japanese food but this place changed my mind I will be back
