My sister and I decided to celebrate my Mom’s 75th birthday with dinner at Sanbra’s (on 2/26). Oh my!!! Not only was the staff very accommodating and friendly, the food was delicious! There were a variety of things we ordered (shrimp, Mac and cheese, wings, red snapper, jolloff rice/chicken (fried and stewed), lamb, puff puff…) Unfortunately, I did not capture all in pictures as we were quickly digging in! The atmosphere was inviting and intimate, just what my mother wanted. We were allowed to bring in her birthday cake (which they set up nicely) and balloons/whatever we wanted to decorate with. They even played the birthday song for my Mom after we sang. It was a beautiful afternoon of good food and celebration! I cannot end without reiterating how great the service and welcome was as well as the flavor of the food- well seasoned and hot.Thank you Sanbra for a great experience! My mother enjoyed it and that’s what mattered most!
This restaurant is amazing. My friend and I met there for breakfast ?. They have the best shrimp & grits that I have ever tasted. It may sound odd, but I also had a side of meatballs with it and I have been craving it ever since. I just wish that they were open for breakfast every day.tldr; if you haven't been then you don't know what you're missing.
Excellent excellent foods. We had light Soup, baked salmon, pasta with Alfredo sauce, jerk chicken, oxtail with garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach, puff puff and molten lava cake. Every single thing was so delicious. Definitely going again to try other items in the menu.
Delicious. We had the hot pepper soup, goat stew and jollof rice. Everything was great. We're already planning to go back and work our way through the rest of the menu.
I have been to this restaurant twice. My experience has been exceptional both times. I never tried jollof rice before. It was delicious. I ordered the fried red snapper. They were two for two. Sanbra brings the flavor. I will order here again.
You have to go to Sanbra Restaurant. It's the best African Caribbean cuisine in Gwinnett County. We enjoyed our experience celebrating my birthday! The food and service was outstanding.
The baked whole Tilapia was cooked to order and truly amazing. I ordered 3 extra servings for my family after my initial serving and I will definitely be back. They get a 10/10 on customer service and cleanliness.
The food was very good, made with love. We enjoyed the ox tails and jerk chicken. Clean pleasant atmosphere for dine in. We recommend trying Sanbra! We will dine here again. Thank you
The best African-Caribbean restaurant I’ve been to thus far in Atlanta (Lawrenceville) area. They are so welcoming and the food was delicious. I had the beef suya and the light soup with fufu. I will definitely be back to try everything else on the menu. I would recommend this as the go to spot for all things flavorful and delicious.
Really great food and experience! The kitchen and waitstaff were very prompt, hospitable, and friendly. I have not had service this good in a long time. The food was amazing! Definitely try the fufu and light soup, as well as the beef patties. The music was good too. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant. I will be back.
